Nature at its best

Nature is both evolution and extinction, life and death, growth and decay. She is a mosaic of heat and cold, light and darkness, fragility and awesome power. Nature offers sunshine and hurricanes, swans and maggots, rain forests and pond scum, whales and bacteria, distant galaxies and the molecules of life.

Life is bliss and we are blessed to see the amazing nature and landscape.. posting few of my collections which I have clicked and enjoyed it

Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. The genus is quite large, comprising several hundred species that are native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world.

Ranging from 12 to 15 inches tall, these miniature sunflowers bloom best in early to late summer. The Sunny Smile's small size makes them extremely easy to grow, and their sturdy stalks are perfect when gardening with children or pets.

The purple lotus is considered the mystic lotus, and is not as commonly seen as the other lotus flower colors. Usually depicted as either a bud, or in bloom revealing the heart, they may appear on a single, triple or quintuple stem, and the eight petals represent the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism.

Below image was shot at Thekkady which is considered a haven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is spread across 777 km2 (300 sq mi), of which 360 km2 (140 sq mi) is thick evergreen forest. The wildlife sanctuary was declared a tiger reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. The greatest attractions of Periyar are the herds of wild elephants, deer and bison that come down to drink in the lake. The sanctuary can be accessed by trekking, boating or jeep safari.

And last at Tanah Lot temple...

Tanah Lot means "Land [in the] Sea" in the Balinese language.[2] Located in Tabanan, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) North West of Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.....
