Thanks @dboontje! The only coast we visited was in the south at Hikkaduwa. You can check it out in an older post of mine. We thought about visiting Trincomalee as well, but after some calculations we concluded we were a bit short on time, so we went west after Sigiriya and stayed a bit longer in Anaradhapura.
