On Samosir Island there are various attractions that are not only interesting, but also unique. One of them is Lake on Lake Toba, namely Lake Aek Natonang, and Lake Sidihoni.
Danau Aek Natonang
Lake Aek Natonang is located in SImanindo Tanjungan Village, Samosir Island, North Sumatra, with an area of about 105 hectares. Tanjungan Village is one of the villages located on the highlands of Samosir Island so that the air around the tourist attraction is cool and cool.
The accessibility to reach Lake Aek Natonang is not good because the road is not smooth, but with the beauty, clarity, and a calm atmosphere in Lake Aek Natonang. Lake Aek Natonang is a lake that still maintains its authenticity because there are no water play facilities such as speed boats, banana boats, rafting and others. Lake Aek Natonang will be beautiful when sunset and sunrise, the sun from behind the hill will reflect biased above the lake water. With the lack of facilities and infrastructure in Lake Aek Natonang, you should prepare before the trip to the lake.
Danau SIdihoni
Lake Sidihoni is in Sabungan Nihuta Village, Longgur Nihuta District, Samosir Regency. Reporting from seconds, the lake is shaped like a bowl that has an area of up to 5 hectares with clear water, the lake has a large field of green grass and sloping hills that add to the fresh scenery. Lake Sidihoni is used daily by local residents to wash and bathe. From Pangguruan, the capital city of Samosir, the lake is approximately 8 kilometers away, with an estimated time of about 30 minutes by motorbike.
Surrounded by savannah grasslands that make this lake more exotic and make this open area a children's playground. And the entrance ticket at the lake is still free.
It is hoped that the local government will pay more attention to the tourism potentials on the island of Samosir, especially Lake Sidihoni and Lake Aek Natonang so that they can make new livelihoods for local residents and become one of the leading tourism objects.
