In fact, a person does not always trust what he sees in films - somewhere there is a thought that it’s all a “movie”, stylization, and so on. Therefore, when you find yourself in real conditions that you saw in the cinema and did not take seriously, it is surprising, and for some it even delights.

Menlo Park Inn

Motel "Menlo Park Inn" is a classic motel from American TV shows. I would say that even a bit is better - not everything is so worn out. By the way, it is clear that it is renovated. That is, this is a rather old motel, but recently it was cleaned, coffee makers, huge TVs and Internet were installed in the rooms. Everything else, like fifty years ago: an open plan, a large bed, an armchair with an ottoman for legs, paper wallpaper (even in the bathroom) and wooden blinds. In general, quite clean, but not stylish. There are soap and soap accessories and even a card for the laundress - you throw it on the bed and this means that you need to change the bed. And if you want your personal items to be washed, then put them in a special container, but it all depends on whether the maid comes.

The motel is located in the town of Menlo Park, it is only a kilometer from Palo Alto (or one and a half or two). There are generally no borders between these cities and everything flows smoothly from one to another.

The price includes breakfast, parking and quite tolerable Wi-Fi. I have not yet been able to use the laundry services. Just because the maid stupidly disappeared. That is, at first she actively offered her services, and when she was asked to come back later, she decided that what for is necessary. In short, a common language has not yet been found. The key card from the room is periodically demagnetized and you need to go to the reception desk to get a new one. It is not clear: this is a bug or so it is necessary. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty - better than Bulgarian, IMHO.
