NIGERIA..... GOOD PEOPLE, GREAT NATION

Well ,let's just say I was scouting for posts with high upvotes so I could learn from them & I stumbled into your post,that now happen to be a contest and I thought to myself what a blessing. Yea, as its actually a two in one. Anyways, that's an aside let me now write on the main purpose, which is telling you about my country and why you should visit it.
So my name is Evelyn, but @affluence on steemit and I'm a foodie. I'm from Nigeria, the giant and pride of Africa, situated at the Western part of Africa & shares boundaries with Benin at the West, Chad and Cameroon at the East and Niger at the Northern.

Nigeria has a population of 170 million people with over 500 living languages:English as her official Language and Hausa,Yoruba and Igbo as her major languages,700 Cities and has the slogan, Good people, Great Nation.

Nigeria is the 10th largest country is sub-Saharan Africa by area at 923,768 km sq. it is nearly four times larger than the United Kingdom. The country is bordered by Benin to the west, Niger to the north, Chad Cameroon to the east, the Gulf of Guinea to the South.
Lagos is Nigeria’s largest city and is located at the western part of the country with nearly 15 million people, Lagos’s population makes it the largest city in sub-Saharan Africa which by some estimate, Lagos itself sets to become Africa’s 13th largest economy in the next few years.

Lagos State,Nigeria's largest city also houses the Third Mainland Bridge,which is the largest bridge in Africa,(11.8km) connects Lagos Island to the Mainland.
The bridge actually starts from Oworonshoki that is linked to the Apapa-Oshodi expressway and Lagos-Ibadan express way, and ends at the Adeniji Adele Interchange on Lagos Island.
Nigeria is also the 12th largest producer of crude oil in the world (averaging 2,525,000 barrels per day) and the 8th largest exporter and has the 10th largest proven reserves of petroleum worldwide that plays an important role in the country's economy and contributes to more than 85% of the total government's revenue.
For relaxation and site seeing,you can visit places like the popular obodo cattle ranch(Calabar),Victoria Island (Lagos),Jabi lake waterfall and Aso rock(Abuja) Aso rock,the Yankari amusement,etc.

There are also very sumptuous delicacies from different part of the country to not just wet your appetite but to also satisfy them.
There is the Fresh Fish,Afang and banga soups(Southern),Egusi,Okro and onubu soups (Eastern),Ewedu(Western) and Tuwo and black soups ( Northern).All you have to do is make a pick and whala,its there,just like that. Haha.
