My first Tree Tuesday post

Like I said in another recent post, I missed the peak autumn leaf colors. I was too busy packing my belongings to go to California, but then I ended up getting a job here near Philly literally 1 day before I was going to leave. I'm now planning to move out there in February.

February out there is like May here. I wanna sell plants online in the US, and that'll give me the perfect head start I need. Fools think otherwise, but you can grow anything in the desert if done right. Desert gardening is the best gardening because you don't have to worry about tropical diseases and pests.

The first 7 photos were taken last week by me with my Canon Rebel t6 at a park on Bell's Mill Road in Philadelphia County. It is part of Fairmount Park; the largest metropolitan city park in the United States. It is along the Wissahickon Creek. There is a long bike trail on the other side of the parking area where the photos were taken. It's pretty deep down in the gorge, and I didn't really get cell phone service down there. I've never actually rode a bike or walked on the trail, besides right near parking lots. It's on my bucket list to do so, and bring my camera.

The latter 7 photos were taken around Devil's Potato Patch in Salford Township. I posted a dozen photos of boulders for my Boulder Sunday post last Sunday. These pictures are more tree related. Salford looks a lot more like winter due to the much higher elevation than the Wissahickon Valley, which is just a tad above sea level. The water also helps moderate the temperature, so it still looks a bit more like fall near water. I have lots more images from these photo shoots yet to come!
