My Social Tourists Activities

Now you may ask me "What do your social tourists do?

Through our Makalu Arun Social Trek, a registered and government licensed social trekking companies established in Nepal we organize social trek for the interested tourists around the Arun valley region of eastern Nepal.

In our program our guests trek up to their desired destination by employing local poorer guides. They stay at the local tea houses or home stays, consume local food and drinks prepared the local people and pay directly their service providers. They also visit the local organization like local orphanage or the institutions like schools or colleges and also do some volunteering works as they like.

The money spent by our social tourists has become an excellent investment for community development.
