This rifle was very precise, compact and safe. About 14 million units were produced and gave good results. There were several variants of this rifle according to the year and the way of manufacturing.
Its features were a fixed internal charger that allowed 5 cartridges tucked one by one or by a comb, a weight of about 4 kilos, firing rate between 10-13 minute shots.
Finally it had a rise that reached up to 2 km, being able to add telescopic sights and throw grenades. They were replaced by assault rifles after World War II, but some countries used them in their colonial wars in the 50s.
