The King In The Lake

Hello good day Steemians! A wonderful blessed to all of you readers and bloggers alike. If you're in to sports specially in the world of basketball and if we say basketball, the premiere basketball in the world is of course the"NBA" or National Basketball Association.

We already heard and at the same time idolized the names of legend like Michael "Air" Jordan, Earvin"Magic" Johnson, Larry "The Hick"Bird, Hakeem"TheDream" Olajuwon, Kobe"The Black Mamba"Bryant, and now in this 21st century the so called elite champion individual surfaced the realm of basketball even the invisible "Golden State" will surely be intimidated by the so called "King" in the world of basketball. Here comes Lebron "The King" James, well he may not be a new by world in the sports arena however he become a legend in this environment.

Since his selection by his former team Cleveland Cavaliers in year 2003 which includes batch of basketball superstars like Carmelo Anthony of now Houston Rockets, Dwayne Wade of Miami Heat, the semi retired Chris Bosh of Miami Heat, David West of Golden State Warriors, Boris Diaw of San Antonio Spurs and even now Lebron mentor Coach Luke Walton of Los Angeles Lakers. When we hear the name Lebron or now the moniker LAbron since he is now with the LA Lakers, we already know that we're talking with a phenomenal star in this field. Often considered the best basketball player in the world and regarded by some as the greatest basketball player of all time in exception with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

If we are gauge Lebron James accomplishment as such, "The King" was plenty and extensive to disclose, this include just only 4 times Most Valuable Player award in NBA, there NBA Finals MVP award, two Olympic Gold medal, three All Star game MVP and NBA scoring title to name a few and he is the all time scoring leader in NBA playoffs history and has amassed fourteen NBA All Star appearances, what more can we ask for aside from that he was also a member of twelve All NBA First team and five All Defensive First Team honors.

Now don't get me wrong when i say that "The King" not literally has touch down the Lake or the "Showtime" Hollywood bay area. Officially Lebron James Sr is now a member of the multi tiled team "The Los Angeles Lakers" and will now spearhead the bunch of young and promising basketball players which include Brandon Ingram, a first round draft pick 2nd overall in 2016 NBA draft, Kyle Kuzma, another first round draft pick 27th pick in the 2017 NBA draft, Josh Hart another first draft pick 30th overall originally drafted by Utah Jazz and was traded to the Lakers, coincidentally Hart was the Most Valuable Player awardee in the recently held 2018 NBA Summer League. And the least we forgot the now famous Lonzo Ball a first round second pick overall in 2017 NBA draft, just like Brandon Ingram, this kid has an eye on the back of his head cause he's a jolly to see playing and passing the ball to his team mates. A reminiscent of early days of earvin "Magic" Johnson and has a similar plays of Jason Kidd.

This new group of purple and gold Lakers which is now led by "The King" with the great acquisition of Rajon"Playoff Rondo", this veteran court general who once led the then mighty Boston Celtics which starred Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Perkins. Another nice acquisition of the Lakers is former Indiana Pacers stopper Lance Stephenson and the former Golden State Warriors center who once recruited by Gilas Pilipinas basketball team as a naturalized player Javale Mcgee, additionally they also recruited Michael Beasley of former New York Knicks which reunited with his former team mate Lebron. The Lakers and it's coaching staff are very good in scouting for rookies as they garnered another promising neophyte on Moritz Wagner, a first round 25th pick in the recent 2018 NBA draft, they also acquired Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, this two skillful player has a good knock on perimeter and long distance shot plus their tall and athletic and of course the other rookie is 6'9 Isaac Bonga from Germany, an orthodox defensive player. I'm really suprise how did these coaching staff able to find and gamble on picking such promising future basketball stars.

Well, this bunch of the so called Showtime and has been considered as a threat to the reigning 3x NBA champion Golden State Warriors who also beefed up their roster by acquiring All Star center Demarcus Cousins who initially was being suited by the Lakers. It will be a promising and spectacular to watch this coming 2018-2019 NBA season with lot of changes and improvement on each team and lets watch the emergence of the Lakers which was almost 5 years in drought for an NBA playoff appearance. I will bet that this Lakers will be a playoff bound team since last year even without superstars they be able to threaten those elite team and even the Golden State Warriors.

So now the showtime is alive and we'll see the West become more dangerous and powerful than the East in the NBA and how congested it will be in the west as the likes of Golden State, Houston, San Antonio, New Orleans, Utah and even the merging Los Angeles will be able to outplay their counterpart. As we see"The King" in the Lake will now led and rule what was known as the a mighty and multi-titled squad. A Legend will be unleashed in the coming NBA season. That is what sports are made of camaraderie and to always bounce back from such setback, as the saying goes "quitters don't win only those that are brave and full of hope just like a ruler and just like a "King"
