Trial By Comics : Blogger Life

Hello Steemians!! This is my entry for comic contest drawing.

I would like to shout to Trial By Comics : Ink challenge by @kommienezuspadt for this contest. A sketch per day is a good exercise to make ur drawing good.

I like to create my own graphic novel based on teenager life. One of my admire cartoonist is Saari Sulong known as Aie. I grew up reading his artwork such as "Aku hidup dalam blues", "Blues untuk aku", "Aku dan dia" basically his a great artist.

For this piece, I decided to do something based on my life. A blogger life. Sat in front of laptop with blank idea don't know what to write. Put my headphone and set my music and hope get a idea to write. So that the idea i draw up for my entry.

So here i'm using 100% digital software to draw. Adobe Photoshop.

This is step - by - step how i create my drawing

1st step
Based on golden ration i place my layout for my drawing.

2nd step
I dim down golden ratio layer to sketch up my drawing layout. As you can see i wanted the audience to focus on the finger.

3rd step
The idea still rough so I sketch up and label out the composition for my drawing.

4th step
After that from the sketches i render out more detail so can see clearly the art line.

5th Step
Here come the inking, I turn down opacity for the sketches and draw on top of it.

6th Step
Almost done.. now i put some detail on the background.

7th step
Final step.. I put character shadow here and put a detail for the panel. steem website and character eye. I also design a comic title "Blogger" on top of it.

I put a gif animated so see my drawing development.
