Can You Unite The Whole World? (@TribeSteemUp Bi-Weekly Question)steemCreated with Sketch.

I’m an idealist and I would like to say YES. The moment we put away all man-made rules, ideas, and the most conflicting factor of all - religion, I know we can unite everyone.

It’s how we see ourselves in others that will be the basis of unity. Deep down, we all want the same thing; to be loved and to love, to be happy and make others happy.

Money, power and status, these are all tools we use to make us feel happy, loved and wanted. So there, let’s just get to the bottom of it and strip away all that. To me, they’re just collaterals to bolster our insecurities.

Nature is a great way to tell us that we can be united. Just look at a tree and you realise you don’t judge it. Just because it’s crooked on a certain branch, you don’t say it’s a disabled tree. It’s just a tree. A tree is a tree is a tree. That’s all there is to it.

We also know that nature has its clever way of existing without inflicting conflict upon each other. It has its own ecosystem to survive for so many millions of years. So perhaps, we have A LOT MORE to learn from nature.

So again, YES, we can unite the world and the first thing we should look towards is nature. The answer is there.

NOTE: I chose that pic above is because of the thorns on the cactus. Despite its thorns, it still looked beautiful. There is no conflict in how it looks. It is what it is. And there can be no cactus pageant to prove otherwise 😉
