He is a stupid person, which explains his decision.

I vote for him because he wants to remove downvotes. downvotes are ruining steem. LBRy is great because you cant be censored. No one to dictate how much your content earns. Like, how is it cool to mute someone and make them invisible on a platform just because you disagree with what they said. Thats the stupidest thing I can imagine...

I'm afraid you have just been misled as to Justin's intentions. Justin has zero interest in debates about upvotes and downvotes.

If you've listened to any of the recent town halls he has participated in, you will quickly find that he has realized he has stepped into a hornet's nest here at Steem, and he's now just looking for a way to get out, without losing any more money than he can in the process.

He's not calling for an end to downvotes (that's a separate group on the site), he wants to change the powerdown delay down to 1 day so that he can make the steemit development stake liquid and then dump it on exchanges to try to recover the money he paid to Ned. If this is allowed to happen, all holders of Steem just lose from it, including you.

idgaf. steem is trash

If you don't care, why did you bother to vote then?

This is why steem will NEVER WORK without him. The entire platform is built around theft! How can someone come along and STEAL someones rewards after they already have earned them??? That is the stupidest shit i can imagine!

Tell me how me getting 513 UPVOTES to equal $3, then TWO FUCKING PEOPLE come along and downvote my post to $0 isnt the stupidest shit you can imagine!!!!!! On what planet does 2 votes equal more than 513????

Go ahead and respond with some "reward pool blah blah blah" bullshit. Shouldn't have set it up that way. LBRY is based on views! Thats smart. Steem setup is just plain stupid. And it takes being bombarded with flags and downvotes and blacklists for the user to see it.
