What is TRON (TRX)?
TRON is currently the World's 15th largest cryptocurrency trading at $0.04. Circulating supply of 65 billion.
Compare to other platforms Ethereum, Cardano, EOS, NEO, Lisk.
It aims to be a combination between ethereum & steem. Creators will be able to create content/apps/games and they will be able to stake coins like in Steem to gain more authority.
TRON's TRX is currently an ERC-20 token, After the main net launch (31st march 2018) TRON will move to its own Blockchain.

TRON is a decentralized open-source cryptocurrency that was founded by TRON Foundation. TRON is an application intended to allow content creators to be compensated for sharing their content.[2] TRON incorporates a blockchain based peer-to-peer technology which basically means that like other cryptocurrencies, it is capable of eliminating the middleman.
From another aspect, TRON’s technology is a distributed storage facility that allows its users to access entertainment content from every part around the world without seeking assistance from GooglePlay Store or Apple Store. As a result, the content producers are able to receive funds directly from the consumers quickly.

TRON Foundation is based in Singapore and follows the principles of Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Nice concept but this isn’t a system for enforcing copy right. People can still steal and copy content.

The English, Korea, Japanese and Spanish versions are translated by the volunteers. The translation missed numerous important details not just reference."

TRON says that the coin has a circulation of 65 billion coins, too much for it to have any significant monetary value. By contrast, Ripple has a circulation of 38 billion and recently surged past the $3 dollar mark

Overall the Tron whitepaper technically is below average. It describes the problem, vision, and schedule well but with buzzwords and code copied from other projects. Nonetheless, it has succeeded to convince investors and gain worldwide attention which IMO relates to Justin's connections and marketing ability

TRON is over-hyped junk.
I can't understand why Jason Sun can't just translate the whitepaper from Chinese to English. He's Chinese. He went to school in the US... this shouldn't be an issue. Why rely on volunteers? Pay someone to translate.

Justin Sun major accomplishment is founding Peiwo. With some involvement with Ripple, not much information about him... He is charismatic but the project does not have a lot of substance... Hoping Feb / Mar, they prove the future of TRX...

I still have "high" hopes in terms of what they're planning. It feels like a similar scenario playing out over at electroneum. I've put in a small position on both, just to see what happens. The cool names and hype drew people in, now it's up to the tech to prove itself. If someone is extremely excited about their project, it makes me more confindent. As a freelancer, if I myself am excited about my work, my clients also get excited and trust me more. Don't know how much relevance it has, but human-behavior stays the same, regardless of the industry/market

I used to have a position in TRX, but after the news of the copied white paper, reports of Justin somehow being allegedly being involved in the pump and dump, and some other negative news i sold all of my entire position back in the beginning of jan, too bad really, i had really high hopes for TRX. Oh well, TRX profits funded my NEO addiction. T.
I agree to all the critical comments you made .. but whats the point of investing when the main net launches .. isn't that whole point of investing is finding value in tomorrows value .. so I do think at its current price its still a good buy
