Trump's 'Paper Towelgate' triggers hurricane of outrage
So the Young Turks go and post a clip of Trump handing out paper towels to Puerto Ricans, and they framed it as "Trump throws paper towel AT hurricane victims":
First of all, he threw the p.t. TO people, not AT them. Here's what throwing something AT people looks like:
In communications (propaganda), this is called "framing" an issue. My piece yesterday broke down how this mind game works, with examples of how effective framing can be with some choice examples of this new "Trailer Mix" trend:
PERCEPTION IS REALITY: How "Framing" reshapes the meaning of everything they tell you.

Now in the tiny clip the Turk's used, actually look at what's going on inside that room. There's no coherent line, they're all just mobbed inside there. Someone certainly screwed up in creating that logistical clusterfuck, but as far as Trump imagine being him coming in there, assuming he was hoping to hand a bunch of stuff out to people and then all the sudden its packed nobody's moving rationally (the story of what's been going on down there the past week by the way)... you know what maybe I'd have started throwing them too!
Although is he were really That Good as they say he should have anticipated such distributional anarchy and brought one of those T-Shirt Cannon devices along to speed the process up. Me, personally I'd probably go with the "FX in Motion Double Barrel T-Shirt Gatling Gun" (MADE IN USA):
Okay, okay, he could have actually gone in there and taken charge better. I suppose he could have been a bit overwhelmed with the entire experience. I know that Puerto Rican's sure have been.
Is he mocking us people or just a moron??? I can't get it!
Unfortunately, the latter. I'm not sure he has the mental capacity to mock.
So, he is actually without any empathy and therefore clueless .
