Humility Prevailed? Kim-Trump Meeting Still On!
In an uncharacteristic move, one I must admit I was very concerned Trump would NOT make, the US military has humbly scaled back the bombing drills with S. Korea, in order for peace talks to carry on. This was a very smart move, the right move, as N. Korea was right to make the demand. The unnecessary and provocative drills could have halted arguably the most significant diplomatic achievement by a US President in the last 30 years. They will not.
If Trump succeeds with a peace deal, he will have earned a Nobel Peace prize, which is what Obama didn't earn but received anyway. He refused to listen to advice of those who always failed but who are still so respected for being "Presidential" (but utter failures at diplomacy). He has been constantly bashed for not taking the advice of professional failures, like someone who bombed 9 different nations is an expert on diplomacy!
On the other hand, he keeps winning and shoving it in their sore loser faces. He even made a HUMBLE move when he had to, despite his arrogant persona. He went against his own character to do what is best for world peace. Yet, liberals are angry about it, some in social media calling him "cowardly" for "backing down." Isn't it funny how they change to hawks when Trump is dovish? They just have to be opposite. SMH.
