One Yemeni Child is Dying Every Ten Minutes, Thanks to the US-backed Saudi Coalition's Genocidal War on Yemen

in #truth6 years ago (edited)

Right now in Yemen it's one child every ten minutes killed by the US-backed Saudi coalition's genocidal war on the small country, and your taxes are paying for it. That's 6 children an hour, 144 children dying every day in Yemen, and your taxes pay for this madness. Think about that for a minute and let it sink in. America has truly gone insane!

According to a recent UN statement, on average one child is currently dying in Yemen every 10 minutes; killed by starvation, a cholera epidemic, indiscriminate US-backed Saudi airstrikes intentionally targeting civilians & civilian infrastructure, and even US bombs - one of which was fired directly into a busload of schoolchildren in August slaughtering 40 young kids all at once.

The starvation is caused in large part by the Saudi coalition air and sea blockade imposed on the impoverished country, which effectively prevents trade while blocking the entry of food, medical supplies and other basic necessities; as well as the Saudi orchestrated financial crash in which the Yemeni currency value has plummeted, leading to entire towns full of families whose money is no longer worth enough to pay for basic necessities such as food for their children if there is even any food available to buy.

The cholera epidemic is mainly due to the lack of available clean water in Yemen, caused in large part by the Saudi coalition's systematic targeting of water treatment facilities in the country throughout the 3-year war, as well as the military blockade which prevents an adequate supply of medicines which could otherwise be used to treat the cholera & lessen the death toll considerably.

The Saudi Kingdom along with the US government and military are directly responsible for the mass murder of innocent Yemeni civilians including children - from both orchestrated starvation and disease epidemics to relentless genocidal bombing campaigns made possible by US-supplied bombs, warplanes, monetary funding, targeting data, and to top it off the re-fueling of the Saudi jets during their bombing raids. This genocidal war effort is also supported by US troops and airstrikes, while US government officials at home such as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo endorse the slaughter in order to protect a $2 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia. Because of the greedy few who profit off war and their political puppets & presstitutes, one Yemeni child is dying every ten minutes - and if you're an American taxpayer, your taxes are paying for this insanity!

More accurately, your taxes pay the interest on a national debt incurred by the US government; a debt incurred to fund not only this genocide in Yemen but also Israel's wars at $10 million per day, trillions of dollars in CIA black-ops, not to mention the mass death and destruction caused by a $700 billion annual US empire-building budget funding the many needless wars waged by the US & its coalitions since 9/11/01 in the name of fighting terror; a debt that the US is incapable of ever paying back; the loans being given to the US by international bankers via the Federal Reserve's issuing of the fiat paper debt notes called dollars, with these bankers collecting their interest on this national debt (which neither you nor I as citizens incurred) through the collection by the IRS of the so-called income tax and social security from the American people.

The American people have been reduced to the indentured servants of greedy foreign bankers, nothing more than the monetary collateral on US government debt issued to fund the mass slaughter of humanity through endless, perpetual war waged on behalf of the greedy few who profit - namely the bankers, arms manufacturers and international banker-owned oil cartels. War is a racket, and the American people are being played. This money magic scam of printing an endless supply of worthless paper money and then lending it to the government at interest which is then collected from the taxpayer is a massive fraud perpetrated against the American people in order to turn us all into finely polished spokes in their wheel of mass murder, nothing but batteries being sucked of our energy to fuel the evil War Machine.

Even after CNN broke the story into the mainstream that it was a US bomb manufactured by Lockheed Martin responsible for slaughtering 40 innocent Yemeni children in a direct hit on a loaded school bus, Congress wouldn't even temporarily cease funding of the Saudi war effort.

The public outrage generated by the combined pressure of the independent media and MSM coverage of this horrific tragedy wasn't even enough to slow the Saudi genocide, which instead only intensified. US officials refused to condemn the tragedy, the fakestream media swept it under the rug, the people quickly forgot about this heinous war crime, and the ongoing genocidal war on Yemen which never even skipped a beat was quickly relegated back to the memory hole of American consciousness as possibly the most ignored and forgotten humanitarian crisis in the world today, while it is also currently the largest humanitarian crisis in the world with millions more Yemenis projected to die by starvation, disease and Saudi-dropped bombs by the end of the year.

The masses have forgotten, but the slaughter continues. There are still an estimated 18-25 million people currently starving in Yemen, while approximately one child is now dying every ten minutes, directly caused by the intentional actions of the US-backed Saudi coalition. The US is still funding Saudi Arabia as it carries out this genocide, still providing the Saudi Kingdom with US-made bombs, still re-fueling their warplanes on bombing raids, still providing them with intelligence and targeting data, and still publicly endorsing the annihilation of the people of Yemen as a "legitimate military operation". The US has cast its full support behind the Saudi coalition's war of aggression on Yemen irregardless of its obvious intent to continue intentionally targeting women and children in airstrikes, which it continues to regularly do to this day.

To add insult to injury, it has recently come to light that the Saudis have made a practice of hiring al-Qaeda fighters as mercenaries used as coalition boots on the ground to fight the Yemeni resistance fighters. The US claims it is involved in the Yemen conflict in order is to help fight radical al-Qaeda terrorists, while at the same time throwing its full support behind the very regime which just so happens to be hiring the same Jihadi terrorists as the US-backed coalition foot-soldiers! The hypocrisy is on full display just like with Syria, and I have to believe that most Americans who are not already fed up with the madness would be fed up with it if they were aware of the full extant of the actions and consequences of the US-backed Saudi coalition and its war of terror being waged against the people of Yemen.

When will enough be enough? How many more Yemeni children have to die by the busload before Americans demand an end to the slaughter? What will it take for Americans to see that they are not morally obligated to fund the slaughter and genocide? People can lie to themselves all day long and try to explain it away however they want in order to help them sleep at night, but at the end of the day, if you pay federal taxes then you are complicit in the funding of a genocide currently killing one innocent child every ten minutes. Every day that you keep paying taxes is another day spent contributing to the death of 144 more innocent Yemeni children. Please, seriously think about that if you're an American taxpayer. How can anyone be okay with that arrangement?

I'm with @builderofcastles and @valued-customer on this one, and I'm waiting for the day the US tax cattle stop supplying money to these greedy mass murderers destroying humanity.

Please stop paying mercenaries to kill people. Especially the children of people you don't know, have no idea where they live, or have any idea why you're being forced at gunpoint to pay to kill them. - @valued-customer, source (article)

If myself and others can find a way to stop funding these killers - and I know several others who have in one way or another taken this path as well - then we can surely all find a way to somehow stop feeding this genocidal beast if we just decide to draw a line in the sand and put our minds to it. We do not need to support these warmongering psychopaths with either an endorsement of their puppet politicians on election day or with our money on tax day, and in fact we have a moral right to refuse to consent to the genocide of our fellow humans, and to refuse to pay for it with our hard-earned money. Some would even say it is our duty as humans to do so.

One thing I am certain of is that if enough Americans made up their minds and decided they were no longer willing to be a consenting participant in their own enslavement or the mass murder of humanity abroad, and if they were no longer willing to pay for the senseless slaughter, then we could all starve the beast and bring the War Machine to a grinding halt.

The people don't know their true power - the power to create peace rather than war, and freedom rather than slavery. All we have to do is be willing to take the first step and begin taking peaceful direct action rather than just talking and complaining about it, and the rest will follow. Exposing the bastards is great, but if we keep feeding the beast, it will continue to devour humanity; and if we stop feeding the beast, then it will eventually starve to death.

I say it's time to starve the beast.

Instead of demanding peace, just stop paying for war.

For more eyewitness insight into the tragic war on the people of Yemen, below is an eye-opening interview with a Yemeni journalist by @tlavagabond from just a couple weeks ago:
US Bombs, Saudi Blockade & Manufactured Starvation - The Truth About Yemen w/ Hussain Albukhaiti:

Update: As I was writing this article, the news broke that 2 more buses full of civilians were bombed, killing 20 & injuring 26 more Yemenis. The slaughter isn't going to end until we make it end, or until every Yemeni is dead.

Peace everyone. If you appreciate the content, I hope you will upvote and consider sharing or resteeming to help raise awareness and get the truth about Yemen out to the masses. Thanks!

No surprise there. They are just following their Israeli friends footsteps.

Genocide is in their DNA.

I don't want to support this. I don't know any of my fellow Americans who support this.
Quite the opposite, I understand Americans want to be champions of democracy and freedom against murderous tyrannies. If the first step to solving a problem is often just admitting there is a problem, then I am very glad you posted this. Thank you for posting this.

Freemasons rig all American elections and plan and profit from all wars on Earth. The Bushes, Clintons, Obama AND Trump are all on the same Satanic Freemason team. They stash their tax free war profits in off shore bank accounts.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment @stepg, I'm with you as I have also never met a fellow American who supports this war effort. Just shows the disconnect between the American people and the government/congressmen who supposedly represent the people. It's obvious they don't serve the people but rather the war profiteers including lobbyists and such. You're so right about steps to problem-solving! I think once enough people see and admit the problem of supporting this Saudi war, the steps to bring it to an end would have to follow... Have a great week!

Thank you so much for being a voice for the voiceless. I will be sharing this through a lot of social networks, and try and spread the word. :'( It just kills me seeing this continue!

Thank you very much for sharing @lyndsaybowes - really appreciate it, just trying to do my best to raise awareness as much as possible, as I can. Sucks that it is continuing for sure, it is so heartbreaking. The worst part is without the US involvement, especially the in-air re-fueling of jets, the Saudis would be incapable of continuing their bombing campaign...

Also appreciate the resteem on my post about the fight against my dog's cancer - you have no idea how encouraging that was as I'm going through this tough time. And thank you for all you do for the truth community on and off steemit!

Excellent post re Yemen, something I also like to keep fresh in peoples minds, so resteemed with pleasure.

( There is nothing doubtful about such actions and circumstances.
