This is my story when the earthquake and tsunami struck aceh 13 years agoIMG_20171225_202416.jpg

13 years ago when I was 9 years old I was witness to how terrible his magnitude 9.3 magnitude earthquake shook the aceh which was accompanied by a devastating tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of aceh people. Precisely the day of the week of December 26, 2004 at 07: 59 pm.
Sunday was a very much-anticipated day for the children, as well as my friends and I where we had promised the day of the week we would play ball on the front page of my friend's house, and that morning my friends had all gathered in front of my house they were waiting for me, because we already promised to gather in my house before leaving Together to where we play the ball, after all gathered we went together to play soccer, just a few minutes of play we were all shocked by the shaking gempat magnitude 9.3 on the Richter scale I fell silent and some friends of my friends were crying out of fear, some buildings collapsed and collapsed people running to escape from the wreckage of his condition really mencekan after the quake stopped I ran to my house as well as my friend friend.
after arriving in front of the house I saw my mother and my family gathered in front of the house I was hugged by the mother who kept crying because of fear and panic by the earthquake that we had never felt before, the father tried to calm us all and make sure that this is just an ordinary earthquake, my house not destroyed only the kitchen that part of the walls cracked and its contents are falling scattered. Approximately 20 minutes after that from a distance I heard the sound of people shouting "run ....... Run ……. The sea water rises (tsunami) "we all went out to make sure the person's shouting, really I saw people all running rushing shrieks sea water rise but I did not see the sea because my house is located approximately 1 kilometer to the coast. Seeing the people fleeing us all panicked I saw father packing clothes and wrapping them in cloth as well as the mother who took the files, documents and put into the bag, the father was carrying my little brother while the mother holding my hand while guiding me to the motor that had been prepared our father set out to find a safer place and survived the waves of the tsunami. (continued to part 2)

  • grateful my family all survivedIMG_20171225_202416.jpgIMG_20171225_202536.jpgIMG_20171225_202333.jpgIMG_20171225_202512.jpgIMG_20171225_202638.jpgIMG_20171225_202556.jpg
