Walking for Justice - Justice March

in #turkey7 years ago

This is a long journey – 432km with the number of 40,000 people from Ankara to Istanbul. Kemal Kilicdaroglu leader of Republican People's Party (CHP) also known “Gandhi Kemal” for his striking resemblance to the father of modern India, is leading this “Justice March” to protest the policies of the ruling Justice.

Walking started in Ankara on 15 June and they walked for almost 20km (13 miles) every day. 8 July walking in finished in Istanbul. The walk was met with intense interest by the people in every city. Because people are looking for peace in old days.

In Turkey more than 50,000 people are in jail (these arrests and purges were often based on nothing but suspicion), approximately 150,000 people have been fired from their jobs. People working in private and public institutions are nervous. Because number of fired people increasing daily. Also journanlists arrested because of their political stance. God and Erdoğan(President of Turkey) knows when they will be released.

So guys, know the value of your country and pray for us. Perhaps God accepts your dearly and saves us from these evils. If everything goes back to normal, I can invite you here for a holiday.
