Welcome Post! From Switzerland ;-)

Hey steemit communitiy!
This is my first blog post ever and I'd like to introduce myself in a few words. My name is François and i live in St.Gallen. It's a medium sized city (Swiss scale), i'll introduce to you in another post.

First of all, in Switzerland (yees Trump was in davos and davos is in Switzerland..) we have four national languages: German , French, Italian and Romansh. German is my first language. Despite I've got a french name, my french is really bad. One reason for me to start with this blog was to train my English skills, especially to improve my writing style.

I'm a part-time student in mechanical engineering. In addition i work at a start-up company which is into additive manufacturing. So for me this blog really means sharing content which is worth reading. For instance, this could be some interesting stuff about additive manufacturing (3D-pinting). By the way, i own a Prusa i3 MK2 3D-Printer. My second topic to write about are some of my homemade MAKER projects. These reports should contain a lot of images and concrete advice. Last but not least i post every once in a while an motivational quote from a speaker that has inspired me in to get things done. Probably also some well done compilations of the nicest places in Switzerland.

This is a good example for the kind of stuff I've built and continue to build. It's an low temperature engine (sterling). It runs from the heat of a cup of tea! This is really fascinating. Please watch out for the video.

So my wish is that my English skills were sufficient to convince you of my future plan with this blog.
