Survivor Season 40 Winners At War Episode 10 Recap and Thoughts

in #tv5 years ago

Another great episode of Survivor this week. The players all got to see their loved ones before diving back into the game. 10 players remain and lines were drawn in the sand today.

It was great to see all the players get to see their loved ones. It's clear how hard it is to be in this game and how great it is to share the experience with their loved ones. Lots of tears were shed and it was a great experience to watch.

The immunity challenge saw a first time winner, Tony. I had no idea he'd never won before, so good for him! I thought his name might have been discussed if not for the idol today so this may have been a timely victory.

Back in camp we really saw the lines start to get drawn in the sand. Two five person alliances were formed and they went head to head at tribal. On one side we had Tony, Nick, Sarah, Sophie and Ben. On the other side we had Denise, Tyson, Jeremy, Kim and Michelle. Each side had numerous powers at their disposal and we saw 3 powers used at tribal. First Jeremy used his power to walk away from tribal. Then Sarah stole Denise's vote and finally Kim used an immunity idol to protect Denise. End result, Tyson gets sent back to Edge of Extinction and we are down to 9 remaining players.
