5 TVshows that got canceled after 1 season but had a great potential

1. Limitless

Limitless was a great tv show that ran (2015-2016). It was in the same universe as the 2011 movie of the same name. For me just the notion of taking pills to have superhuman abilities is an awesome plot for tv show. Now add a guy who works as a consultant taking NZT pills to catch criminals, and Bradley Cooper reprising his role as Senator Eddie Morra from the movie and we got ourselves an amazing tv show. I would never cancel this show, it had potential for more.

2. Forever

Forever was an amazing tv show that ran in (2014-2015) about a 200 year old man who works for the police as a consultant and trying to uncover the key to his immortality. This was one of my favorites back when it ran and it had potential for far more.

3. Backstrom

Backstrom was a funny and awesome tv show that ran in 2015 about a brilliant detective Everret Backstrom and his team trying to solve murders. It really had potential for more seasons.

4. The Tomorrow People

A great tv show that ran in (2013-2014) about a group of people with superpowers like teleportation, telekinesis and telepathy hunted by agents of a organization called ULTRA. Also had a good potential for more seasons.

5. Constantine

About John Constantine a man who is haunted by the sins of his past and suddenly thrust into the role of defending humanity from the incoming forces of darkness. The season ended on a cliffhanger so imagine my surprise when  the series got canceled after only one season. The series was then shipped to other networks and was connected to the DC universe on CW, by putting John Constantine in an episode of Arrow and this year in 2 episode of Legends Of Tomorrow. And apperently the series will continue where it left of in (2014-2015) season but it will be an animated tv series.

Sort:

a couple of older (IMO) great one-season shows:

the 1995 show American Gothic, starring Gary Cole
(not to be confused with any other show of the same name)

the 1997 show Roar, starring Heath Ledger
(some episodes not aired until 2000)

I was always partial to Probe I mean Issac Asimov was a creator...

and

Misfits of Science

good stuff !

Hi @aneninen! Just wanted to thank you for participating into my Oscars 2018 contest. You were one of the first to take part and vote, however you kinda forgot to upvote and re-esteem :) Would you mind doing it for my latest reminder?
