A night that lasted a generation
It was the first day of the month,
As Tinu and her friend run around
looking at the moon shinning bright
Because the night has invited the moon.
Suddenly they heard the sound of terrified hen
They were scared and ran to Tinu’s Mom and she asked “Why are you running?”
Tinu: Panting as she replied “We are afraid”.
Tinu’s mother then said to them
“What do you know about fear?
Fear is for the winter
When the snow fall
A hundred feet deep
Fear is for the long night
When the sun hides for years
And children are born
They live and die
All in the darkness,
That is the time for fear,
When you hear the sound of guns
Rolling like a thunder
Right behind from the woods.
Thousands of years ago
There came a night
That lasted a generation
Kings froze to death
In their big castles,
Same as the shepherds
Froze in their huts.
Women smothered their babies
Rather than see them starve
They wept and felt the tears
Freeze on their cheeks.
That is the time you can now talk of fear.
In that darkness
The moon hackers
Came to life for the first time
After hundreds of years
Which they conquered their king,
Each of them is 14 feet tall
Nothing less, maybe more.
They swept through cities
And destroyed kingdoms
Riding on elephants.
They destroyed building
Just with one kick.
Only those with wings could fly.
