RE: # @steem-ua: Announcements, Partnerships and Exciting News!
Interesting developments.
Question: why do you have to log in using SteemConnect to see your UA score? I can't see a reason why you would need any authorization to do a look up in your database.
Edit: reading your API documentation you require a memo key encrypted message with plaintext of the senders username only (i.e. not a useful message), so I have to conclude you are using SC to do this. The purpose then is obviously proof of requester but why do you need this? Internal statistics? API rate limiting to Steem account holders only, and possibly per account if you choose (though you don't say it anywhere I can see)?
Because I dont want you to think nobody saw this question I'm replying... ill try to find an answer too.
Thanks, looking forward to see what it could be.
I can't imagine it can take this long to get an answer, have you had any success in this or is nothing coming. This is a critical issue as far as I'm concerned.
interesting, transparency would be nice. Also the messages now given with upvotes have no post ranking information taking away more transparency.... ? any reason @steem-ua?
Yepp! Just tacking on here, as a user, I would definitely appreciate an explanation about this.
Hey remember how 'hopium' affected the bitconnect community and affected Steemit?
Playing dumb and having lots of hype with no transperncy around a finacial product can destroy communities and peoples reputation.
