Seem like a really nice bunch of people. Alex feels a bit like the lawnmower man living on his farm in a remote part of Canada. Its nice to know that there would be alternative block chains to build on as ethereum grows. But then again why go to one of these networks as ethereum could also adapt to lower things like gas costs. What I do want is a standard like html or css for defining smart contracts. That way we as dApp developers would be able to support multiple block chains rather than having to be all in on a single chain.
