This weird floating ring showed up in my hometown - Firework or UFO?

Apparently this mysterious ring hovered in the air for over 15 minutes in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I happened to be out of town, but my wife and I couldn't get on Facebook without reading another post about it. I believe they concluded it to be the result of a very large firework and the perfect weather to leave the ring in shape. Have you ever seen anything like this?

If you dont know what it is that means by definition its a UFO ;) about the thing itself...I have no idea what it is but smoke from fireworks seems a bit farfetched
