#Ulog #3: For Me August 3 is my Anniversary in Steemit

Hi steemians and my fellow uloggers! Yes you see it right! I started my Steemit account last June 2017 however as a newbie in this field, I didn't start immediately. I have a lot of things that I need to learn, basically how it works, how I can gain followers and I think what should I start to write. The first time I saw how whales earned money in this platform makes me think if this site is a real paying or just a just like other site that makes people work and just didn't work at the end. I started here with an empty mind but I have the guts. I want this because I am not a kind of person who is not vocal of how I feel, I really love to write since I was a kid. I remembered that when I'm was in the grade school I became a little journalist who compete in a school division. I see this platform perfect for me.

Today in my one year of stay in the community I want to share my gratitude in the whole community. Thank you for being part of my Steemit journey. I have a lot of things I learned in this. To all my supportive mentors @surpassinggoogle to @bobiecayao who introduced Steemit to me and invited me to join to @iwrite @antonette who mold me to be a better writter andny more I cannot mention them one by one but I know they know how grateful I am for giving me a such a wonderful experience to be part of it.

One of the most fulfilling as a writer is I was able to help the one who is really need an operation though it is not a really big amount I am happy because I brought a smile and hope to Samantha's family in giving the donations and the money I have earned from this platform. She's done with the first operation and still earning for the next. I realized that Steemit is not just a platform, not only a paying blogging site but a huge family. I'm looking forward for more years of happiness and exciting adventure here. I hope everyone here will find their own reason to stay in the community even if we get low income in return.
