ULOG #006: Harvesting The Mangosteen Fruit, In The Mangosteen's Own Garden

Today I am harvesting mangosteen fruit from my own garden. Previously, of course I had to find one of the male teenagers climbing my mangosteen tree, because my mangosteen tree is quite big and tall, it definitely needs someone to be able to pick the mangosteen fruit. I finally met Jufri, an 18 year old teenager.

At first I was very anxious, told someone to climb my mangosteen tree, my heart is very vigilant. What if this Jufri fell and broke his bones, it would be very dangerous.

Because I was too worried, finally asked him directly. Hi Jufri are you good at climbing? Yes, I'm used to climbing, not just mangosteen, but all the trees I can climb. I hobby climb, he replied.

Hearing the answer from jufri finally my feelings became relieved, which had been vigilant finally turned into happy again. Then I went with Jufri directly to my mangosteen gardens about 2 kilometers from my home.

When arriving at the mangosteen gardens, Jufri immediately started climbing my mangosteen tree. Here my feelings start worrying again, can it really climb? Maybe he's lying to me.

However, after I saw him casually and carefully in climbing the mangosteen tree my feelings finally really became a relief.

Oh yah, in picking the mangosteen fruit, on a tall tree is usually not done with empty tanga, but there are tools. I myself do not know his name, but in my place, a special tool for choosing these mangosteen fruit "corong" (funnel), maybe steemian friends can name it by another name.

After about 1 hour of waiting, I finally saw Jufri have managed to take my tall mangosteen fruit, and I am very happy when Jufri can pick mangosteen fruit that is really ripe and ready to eat, I start peeling it by hand, because the Mangosteen fruit is very ripe easy to peel and eat.

This time my feelings no longer hesitate and worry anymore, because this mangosteen tree is still not too high, so not too difficult to climb. I also had time to photograph him again picking mangosteen fruit.

Jufri finally managed to do his job well, it really made me happy and I can mangosteen many today. Very good to eat, sure my family happy when I bring home this mangosteen fruit.
