Ulog #2: A Father's Day Special

We were supposed to celebrate father's day yesterday to avoid the rush of people going to the mall and resto, but the handyman came and fixed some stuff at home which left us no choice but to celebrate it today.

A little too early for a driving lesson, don't you think? lol

Amazingly, there weren't a lot of people at the mall--or we were just too early. We actually went early because we had to do some grocery shopping--which is the only shopping I do these days. lol

After doing the grocery, we decided to eat already even though it was still quite early for lunch at 10:30 am because we don't want to be on the waiting list just in case there are a lot of diners at noon. My husband suggested we go to North Park but I was disappointed with their service the last time, so I didn't want to return. Well, the food was good but the ambiance and the crew were kinda off. So, we went to Mann Hann instead--which is also a Chinese restaurant.

After lunch, we went to National's Bookstore because I wanted to buy the hubby a gift. Today is Father's Day and next week is his birthday--so, it's a 2-in-1 kinda gift. There you go. #tipidtips from this stingy momma. lol

A gift fit for an artist---I hope.

I told him that it was for me but, honestly, I don't even know how to use it! Well, I haven't given him his gift yet. I'll probably do it later--when he has forgotten all about it and thinks I didn't get him any gift. I am such a bully, I know! lol
