My ULOG Adventures #2 - Whole Day Ministry!
Whole Day Ministry
While the first light of dawn shined upon my window, the cool breeze of a refreshing and minty scent of the morning air enters my lungs, the pleasant feeling of warmth from the sun against my skin, the early birds happily chirp a wonderful melody. I woke up to see the beautiful scenery where the sun slowly rises from the horrizon of the mountains and trees. Then suddenly, I wake up.
I opened my eyes to see my dull blank ceiling. I turned to my left and I saw my pinboard, locked up and loaded with stories, ideas, poems, quotes, pictures, and songs.
The first thought that popped in mind was that this is going to be an okay day. Not that exciting, not that boring, just, simple. Just the way I like it.
I got up from bed and realized that I was quite energetic.
For a sleepyhead like me, that was shocking
I checked my phone to see the time, only to find out I was 30 minutes early than my usual alarm which is 5:30. So my first action was to go and cook rice for the peeps so that they could much at once when they wake up. Then after that, I did some stretching to prepare my body for the coming day. I put on my sport clothes, the usual sleeveless shirt and jerseys and off I went to see my good friend, Olsen.
I got on my bike, and I headed to his house about some six minutes away.
Six minutes biking distance that is..
And then after a fuss with his three-year-old baby brother not wanting to let him leave for about 30 minutes, we finally got our way to the open court to play ball. then we played for about til 7:20 and then I went home to prepare for ministry.
Surprisingly, that took me a long time so that I could go there at almost 9 o' clock.
I arrived thankfully at 8:57 and still got some time to walk to the meeting place, instead of riding. A walk is always welcome to my life, whether it be long or short walks. Its like an aspect of myself that I never want to let go of.
And I could literally spend forever walking, if I didn't had the need to eat, sleep or drink that is..
When we arrived, we just sat there waiting for quite some time while I was playing with some of my photos because, why not? Shortly after, the guide and the other dudes arrived and off we go to the territory.
The territory wasnt that far, it was just a three-minute drive away from the meeting place. And if there's one thing I could describe that territory, then I'd call it peaceful. It was quiet there, very pleasant. Of course, not with the heat included. But for the most part, it was lovely.
After some time, we finished but didn't notice the passing of time, so what we did was after preaching, we went to a friend's house to have lunch there and just rest for a while. Because they said that we are going to preach for the whole day.
After we all had out fill with the chicken and greens, we rested for a while. I slept mostly because I was very tired and because my pinky toe hurts.
Very sure it might be because of the basketball game earlier..
But my uncle, @jysui, suddenly brought out some uno cards,
The game that destroys friendships,
and called the others to play. Me not included.
And the 'resting' only took us only two or three hours. After that, we headed of to the plaza to go cart witnessing. And that lasted for, until four-something then we decided to go walk to a cafe to order some milk teas.
We ordered the drinks then after a while, I suggested we played bombsquad. The teaming was quite fair. Me,
A pro gamer.
and two girls,
Complete noobies.
VS @jysui and @captainjay.
The two have decent knowledge of the game.
Then we played for like, a long time.
We kept winning..smirk
Of course the two dudes decided it was unfair because we kept winning so they called one of the girls to their side.
We still won.. smirk smirk
Then the girl I was with's phone bugged, and I have to fend of three peeps at once. Of course, it was difficult because I kept dying, but I still won, well I did lose for like 2 or 3 times, but I still won until the girl came back and we dominated the game until the score was 4 to 1.
It was a good game really, and winning doesnt matter. What really matters was that we all had fun.
Ahem! Excuse me Mr. Me but...
Sadly, when the time ticked at 6, that meant we had to go home. Well, its fine really cause we can just plan another gathering on another place on another time.
Me and my uncle walked home to try to catch awesome picture for posting and it was worth it!
We arrived 30 minutes later at the house and the peeps had family worship and thats about it. A whole day of service to Jehovah is the best!

And I really thank @surpassinggoogle for this #ulog, because if ever that I can't think of anything to post, #ulog gives me the chance to write everyday just talking about what happened at my day.
I also want to thank @jysui for his continuous nagging for me to write again. Really appreciate it!😂
