Ulog #29 - Advanced Birthday Celeb on Teacher's Day

Hello guys, most of my blogs when we have an outing is with my pretty colleauges, my batchmates in joining DepEd five years ago. They are true people whom we help hand in hand to fight our endeavors being educators since the first day we were hired in the same school and until now our closeness becomes tighter.

This bonding happened last Teacher's Day, not only for the day's celebration but also for the birthday of @sawi to happen this 13th, Saturday. We always find time to celebrate those days whom we consider important to our friendship and togetherness.

This is a little cake bought by Ma'am Fey, we love to always have a cake labelled for the occasion even just a small cake.

We are fun of going to restaurants which is something new to us, this time we agreed to be in Manggahan at Tamiya Basak, Lapu-lapu City. Amazingly, we ordered a lot anticipating a lot of food because of the higher price, but we just amazed with the amount of serving,. That is expectation versus reality that made us laughed but at least we had the experience.

This Native Chicken Tinola in Chayote satisfied us for a delicious soup, the price was almost 600 pesos.

This Carbonara with small bread costs 129 pesos.

Expecting more for a Squid Adobo which I didn't like to take picture where it was just placed in a small dessert plate and we all laughed. It has a unique, delicious taste, only with a small serving, and we are all noted as good eaters lol.
But when it comes to beer in a small bottle, they are the cheapest buy 1 take 1 for only 65 pesos.
Besides the Pizza for 500 pesos was worth and so yummy. Our final conclusion was we were all full, only with a higher budget. Generally, they have quality foods only in a smaller serving comparing to other restaurants.

But whatever experiences we can have both good and bad, always our mode is on the positive side enjoying our company as good friends to treasure every moment we are together.
