ULOG #001: “Basking by the beach of Cordova, Cebu, Philippines with my sister”

It’s already June but me and my sister still feel the summer as we went to Solea Mactan Resort today. The Solea Mactan Resort has a picture-perfect hotel and resort in one. It is located in the beautiful and relaxing view of sky-blue waters in the island of Cordova, Cebu, Philippines.

It has a very rich garden and very large pools to accommodate their hotel guests from around the world. And to promote for the local industries, the Solea Resort also supports local hand-made crafts for their interior designs.

There are also coffee shops and restaurants around the resort to appease your cravings. My sister and I enjoyed the scrumptious taste of their very strong espresso coffee and crispy croissant and blueberry cheese cake.

We had some fun too taking pictures by the beach. The resort is just next to the beach. So, when you get tired swimming on the pool, you can chill and ponder good thoughts by the beach.

There are also large grounds that are intended to be used for large crowds. And these can be rented. There was a big family reunion when we were there.

Near the boundaries of the resort, there is fish pond. And everyone can feed the fishes with rice or crushed biscuits but with care, of course.

The staffs are also so accommodating to everyone. They assigned ushers and usherettes to guide the guests if they need directions around the resort.

What a good day to take a break from the noise and smokes from the city! We really need to unwind sometimes. A little relaxation is just small reward for two hardworking souls.
