Hello everyone! My name is Karhyl Quintero and I’m new in this initiative
@ULOG. Today I want to talk about something that I’m working on since a couple of weeks, a friend of mine is a really good catholic singer in my state, her name is Yugleth Ines, she is near to launch her new CD of catholic music titled “Levantate y brilla”, and like Yugleth sings only with the intention of preaching the Gospel, I decided to gift her a music video of one of her songs to promote her music and her new CD; this is my first time creating a video, because in this opportunity I had to create the concept, film everything, editing the video and be in charge of everything by myself, but the true is that usually I work only with the edition of the videos and the idea of producing something like this is very exciting and in some way is a challenge for me because I’m proving myself that I can do this.
For this video we were filming in a school of my city, in a chapel called “Nuestra Sra. De Chiquinquirá” and in a restaurant called “Quinta La Hechizada”, the owner of the place let us use the garden to film a big part of the video and he was so polite with us, there I took a lot of good shots and that make me very happy!
I finish today with the part of the film, I filmed a niece and a friend of Yugleth in “Quinta La Hechizada”, it was really funny because her friend is really cool, she is very dynamic and full of good energy but she didn’t learn the lyrics of the song and I had to do a lot of shot of her because she was wrong in many times and I needed that she be synchronized with the song but finally she could do it, with Yugleth’s niece was easy because she was so exciting, that little girl learn the lyrics like a week before, also she is so obedient that all the things that I said she needed to do, she did it and it was so cute, she is adorable. Now I’m so anxious because now I have to start to editting and that’s my favorite part of the process because I can play with all the material, the song and the effects, I hope that everything turn out well.

I share the tips to make ulogs
Thanks for the welcome and for the tips!!
You are a very good friend and I hope you success in that. Did you use a tripod to hold the camera for the video? That helps in stabilizing it so it will not be shaky.

No, I didn't use a tripod because I don't have one, it would have been ideal but I did what I could with what I had :c
Oh, I see. Then there is much more love put in that work of yours. In times like that resourcefulness is important.
