Hi, Steemians! 😊 Good morning! Well it’s Monday morning so, that’s more of a wish than a fact. 😂

Anyhow, I made an Ulog yesterday so I just delayed this one a bit. I was out at SM last night fetching something when I looked up and saw the majestic moon with a bright star near it.

I love the sunsets, I love sunrises, I love blue skies, but the moon, that often solitary figure has always.held a special place in my heart. From childhood when I would walk and look up in wonder because the moon seemed to be following me. To young adulthood when I would look up and see comfort in a lonely moon illuminating the world in its quiet unassuming manner, the moon has always been a steady source of comfort and fascination to me.

I walked a little bit to Ubalde to complete my task, when I walked back, I captured baby Luna again ft. tree leaves

All the while I would keep looking up at the moon and her companion star. This particular view reminded me of a belief someone told me before, that when a star is near the moon this is the optimal time for courting. I told my girlfriend this and she said what they told her was that it’s the best time for engagements. I mean I’d ask her to be my girlfriend but she already is and I’m a lucky idiot. Anyway. 😂😂😂

So, I was walking home and kept looking up. On the way back to the house, I managed to capture baby Luna framed by trees again, this time she looked more grand and impressive.

I have always loved the moon, and though it gets me in trouble because I’m alwas liable to trip over something because I’d keep looking up, I would not prefer it any other way.

I wrote something about the moon before, it went:
Maybe the reason why we can’t take good photos of the moon is so that we’d be forced to really look at it the whole time. Maybe it’s asking for our company in exchange for its beauty

I’m not sure if that’s true, or it’s just my romantic take on the moon. Whatever may be true, I know I’ll always adore Luna, and that I’ll always be a lunatic.
