ULOG: Talking about Ulog-quotes and other stuff

So here we were waiting in the Steemgigs Discord server for the man of the hour to arrive and give us those words of wisdom and motivate people. Terry has a way with words and people that makes them feel they can do anything.

I started with playing Superhuman by Chris Brown as I often do.

Yet he was running a little late as it was past midnight already but he was not yet there so I took the opportunity to talk about some of the contests that are running in the Steem Platform.

I took the time to tell people of what I was able to see and encourage them to join. This is my way of being able to encourage people to keep on posting amidst the low price of Steem.

This was, of course, a perfect segue to talk about Terry's latest never ending contest. He plans to get people to do #ulog-quotes.

In the past, when i was younger, i did something called TerrySays. There was also "ITOLDBEYONCE". I did want to test out more "technicality", when it comes to content-creation during those times. I used to blog then with blogspot, wordpress etc I had tried everything; instagram, google pages, pininterest, stumbleupon, flickr etc Well, i was doing tough life too; thus, i wanted to remove barriers to content-creation too. I was going to be #toolazytoquit and to beat mountains-of-odds, i was going to have to be able to pop-out content on-the-spot, every and each time. I was going to keep lengthy sentiments, short; "a shorter route but "to the entire journey".

Words have power. Terry is well aware of it and creating a #ulogs-quotes is but another part of the curriculum of teardrops. Of changing the landscape of Steem and the internet.

If you look at the tag you would have seen a lot of people creating their #ulog-quotes. To read how some of these people take a piece of their lives and create an uplifting quote to inspire other people is just awesome.

I am still thinking what part of me I would like to share. I have so many ups and downs in my life and each moment a possible way to help not just to inspire others but also me.

I also touched on the idea of Steem Basic Income (@steembasicincome) this is an experiment done in Steemit that aims to create the idea of a universal income for everyone.

People need to send 1 Steem to @steembasicincome and in the memo just add the name of another person they want to sponsor and get an upvote. So you and someone else both gets upvotes which is about sharing your blessings.

@dynamicgreentk was kind enough to help out in explaining some of these stuff as well thus giving people more information on this wonderful program.

Another thing that I about was @fundition. I recently learned that @yanzel4life recently became the Fundition Ambassadress to the Phillipines. This was in part because of her strong desire to make a difference in the lives of the children that she teaches.

She was able to 100% fund the repair of her classrom with Steemit donations and upvotes. She was also able to do another project where she raised the funds to have a science lab made for her school.

I think that was pretty amazing what she was able to accomplish and just goes to show if you want something enough you will do everything you can to make it come true and Steem is a great enabler of our dreams.

It was almost 1:30 AM when we had word that Terry would not be able to join but it was fine because in our own way we were able to spread some inspiration to people with all the wonderful things that are happening due to Steem.
