#Ulog 021: A cry for help
Most of us take our health for granted. We wanted and needed to do more than necessary. We sacrifice sleep and eating on time due to intensive workload and personal errands.
I was shocked to know one of my good friend was hospitalized recently. She had been posting in social media that she is sick again with common illnesses like stomach ache and dizziness, colds and etc. We are used to seeing these things especially of you exposed to fatigue and natural aspects in catch these illnesses. But what separates her case from my other social media friend's posts is that she was diagnosed with STAGE 4 COLON CANCER. The sadder part is her sister have the same case and they were only diagnosed a month apart.
We could not believe she is now battling a life threatening disease with her sister knowing that she never failed to visit the doctor. She had been misdiagnosed multiple times and the main illness was just recently uncovered.
She is a mom with 3 kids, the bread winner and as a single parent. Her sister on the other hand takes care of her kids while she works. All these had been a shock since they are living healthy and also such cheerful and positive people. It seems it was hereditary as per doctor.
They need all the help they can get. And sharing their story and the link for donation is only one of the ways I can help. Prayers will greatly be appreciated as well.
If you would like to donate please visit this GOFUNDME page.
Today I realized not to take my health for granted for the consequence may be worse than we've always imagined.
All steemians please take care and always be willing to help others.
Thanks for dropping by. :)
Please do support @surpassinggoogle, he has been an amazing person. I support him as a witness. I voted for him at https://steemit.com/~witnesses. It would be very much appreciated if you do the same by voting him at https://steemit.com/~witnesses and then type in "steemgigs" at the first search box. If you want to give him witness voting decisions on your behalf, visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses again and type in "surpassinggoogle" in the second box as a proxy. Also, a big thanks to @bayanihan for always supporting my posts.

Sometimes, no matter how careful we are, when diseases just want to screw us, they'll just appear out of the blue. So let's just make the most of everyday coz we'll never know what's gonna happen next. Please tell your friend to stay strong. 💙
