Today is the 52nd day of the year. It's been a whirlwind month and a half. My family traveled all the way to Vancouver to attend my grandma's wedding, closed my heart to Allianz and started a brand new chapter of my life this very 2020.

Since coming back from Canada, I wake up at 5 in the morning to head to the office by train. The only thing that has got me up every day right now is the possibility of building a family of my own soon.

Vancouver

Visiting Vancouver is always the best time of my life. I love my cousin, Tim, who stays here in this part of the world. Hanging out with him is always great. My wife says that he is more like a wife to me than her. I have no idea what that means. But I always love hanging out with him.

We stayed in a home booked through Expedia that was half the price of what we can get at a hotel. The home was near Marine Gateway, where we got to visit the gym and also got a free trial day at WeWork. All other cool cafes and restaurants are here including Tim Horton's, Starbucks, A&W, Shoppers Drug Mart and T&T Supermarket. Choosing this home was a great idea which we stayed for 10 days.

Though it was supposed to be gloomy days when we visited, wifey prayed for good weather and we got sunshine most of the time when we were there. Prayer does work!

The most memorable thing was my grandma's 90th birthday mass. Not only did the priest acknowledge my grandma's birthday before and after mass, everybody sang happy birthday to her. That has never been done before or have I ever experienced such an occasion. It was just beautiful.

My grandma's birthday dinner was also something to remember. We ran out of helium from the tank my brother and Tim got after blowing up 3 out of 9 balloons. The red balloons they bought were too huge that with just 3, the gas was all used up. We thus ran to the nearest Safeway carrying 6 balloons all from the restaurant there and back. I wish we were caught on camera because it was just super fun to have, running in the cold back and forth.

During the dinner, all of us had the chance to cuddle baby Maddie, my big cousin's new born and all of us had good times taking pictures with everybody present. We had 2 tables of 10 people there at the birthday celebration.

After dinner, we were told to take the bus home. After getting home, I was not too happy because my wife cannot stand the cold and walk in it too.

There was a big scene I created on Whatsapp, voicing out my discontent and trying to tell everybody how unhappy I was.

At the end of the conversations we had with all parties, we were back as family as how it should be.

Our Vancouver stay brought us to Whistler Blackcomb, we also watched NHL game that was so awesome that I feel that it was one of those games that will go down in history as the best ever in the Rogers Arena stadium. The final goal saw the goalie being substituted with a player, where the Canucks were able to score in the last second.

We got to sit my cousin Jeff's Tesla Model 3. Wow! You can make people fart that comes out from the seat! haha!

I was so hoping to bring my family here to live and grow up in. But at the end of the stay, leaving Vancouver, the plans have changed and I think we will not be coming here after all. My wife cannot stand the cold anyway. So I think coming here isn't that good an idea after all.

Malaysia. We will be here as long as God intends us to stay.

God bless.
