Beyond Blessed

I am beyond blessed because God showered me a lot of blessings that I didn't expect to receive.
Indeed life has full of surprises because 1.) I made to graduate on time. 2.) My mother went home. 3.) They prepared food for my graduation

Everyday, we strive to be happy but there will be times that we will be sad because of the facts and reality.

I almost fail to graduate on time because I was deployed by a hotel late from whats expected but God straightened things out for me when our HR in the hotel was very kind and understanding, I believe it was part of God's plan to put me there because their management was gives a win win situation on doubling our hours during holidays and crediting over time works and these made us finish my requirements in school on time. With determination and self sacrifice on time and effort. I finished my training earlier than expected and look at me now in the picture I am wearing a maroon toga with confidence and conviction.

A few months earlier from my graduation day my parents told me that they can't go home to attend my graduation, I was understanding to them and everyday of my life I would still smile to everyone even though my mind feels lacking and heart feels numb because even though my parents are not there at least one of the family member would attend my day. I fully undestand that is how life runs, we don't get what we picture but we also have to continue fighting for our future.

and fast forward to the days before my graduation day, my mother went home to surprise me. I was very emotional and happy because my mother will finally see me walk down the stage and receive my diploma and medal. I was consistent on just telling them on when will be my graduation day but I already know that they won't arrive but there was just a little hope expecting them to change their minds

When my mother surprised me she told me that she booked her ticket last minute and flew down to the Phillipines because my sister in america convinced her that college graduation is just once in a lifetime moment so she decided to attend my graduation day.

My happiness is beyond its stretch because I get to fulfill what I desired is that to graduate with honors and make my parents proud. At last they are finally through on giving education to their children and at last another thorn has finally removed.

This day was the best feeling I have ever felt in my life. We were almost complete as a family but I am still blessed because its not all the time we could have a moment to be as one. During the ceremony I always look back and wave at them at the bleachers. I feel like I made them proud I am standing on the platform that there youngest in the family has now graduated.

It was a day filled with tears of joy, there was a moment in the ceremony which is tribute to parents which I only gave them a single rose but my family exchanged it with a bouquet of flowers. I was very touched because it is like a metaphor to a life where sometimes we give less love to our family but they will exchange it with a greater love to support us all the time.

Furthermore, my circle of friends also graduated with honors. We grew together, we studied together and now we graduated together. We earned our achievements and finally everything of it was not in vain. We may be now far from each other but I know that they are just one chat away from me.

Life was not easy but they made each other's life easy because we get to comfort each other when we were away from our family, we get to care for each other when someone gets sick. We get to teach each other when someone was. confused. We we're there side to side when we needed each other's back.

Before my graduation day I asked my best friend who will also graduate on the same day that I will celebrate with them because I anticipated that there will be no preparations for me. But on the other hand, they prepared food on the table when we arrived home. I completely did not expect that they would prepare this much because they did'nt orient me with the things that will come.

Moreover, I got an auntie who personally came in the house just to congratulate me with cakes and hugs. I received from the people who I did'nt expect to give me much love.

As I am more than blessed I hope I won't dissapoint them with the never ending love and support that they showed to me. I am felt renewed and strong with these blessings I recieved from my God. Words are not enough to thank the people who supported me throughout my journey. This chapter of my life was the best where smiles and tears where genuine.

Now that I am writing another chapter in my journey, I will now strive not only happiness but also success. And now that I have tasted a glimpse of success I therefore believe that success is undeniably sweet and precious, I, thank you!
