We are witnessing an evolution in consciousness

in #ungrip7 years ago

Steemit is a black swan much like the Internet where we have an opportunity to practice living in anarchy in this fictional realm so that we can build the skills, tools and confident to take it into the physical and spiritual realms.  It is important that we work on these concepts and ideas here as it will demonstrate that it is indeed possible to self-govern and at the same time break the strangle hold that the state and church has on our lives.

I stand as a witness to this evolutionary process as I've seen growth and prosperity as a result of peoples participation here on steemit.  I've also witnessed some who struggle with some of the concepts, but I have faith that they will work through it and embrace the concepts that have been brilliantly built into this blockchain.

It is up to each individual to embrace a level of consciousness that meets or exceeds that which was demonstrated by Christ.  I believe the second coming is each of us doing the work to rise above the works of our meat suit but to embrace a way of life that far exceeds what Christ demonstrated.  I know we are capable of doing much more than what we think or believe we can.

"... the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;" - John 14:12

We are facing an evolution of revolution.  It is time to break the cycle that has plagued mankind since the beginning of time.

In March 2011 I wrote a paper called 'Evolution of Revolution'.   I put it onto the blockchain now for as long as it exists.

If one was to look at the news headlines from both the mainstream media and the alternative media outlets or look at all the links that our friends and family sends us every day, one would not be blamed for concluding that it appears the world has gone mad and that there are a number of changes on the horizon.  It was best said by Thomas E. Mails in his book “The Hopi Survival Kit”

“The forces we must face are formidable, but the only alternative is annihilation.  Still the man-made system cannot be corrected by any means that requires one’s will to be forced upon another, for that is the source of the problem.  If people are to correct themselves and their leaders, the gulf between the two must disappear.  To accomplish this one can only rely on the energy of truth itself.”

It would be arrogant of me to sit here writing about truth as I too am searching just as you are.  However, I can write about my experience and belief structures so please permit me to describe what I believe the truth is and then perhaps we can have a healthy discussion.

When a child is born, it is completely dependent on its parents for the basic necessities of life; food, water, clothing, shelter and social contact.  Without those basics the infant would not survive.  As the child grows up, the parent’s responsibility is to guide the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth and maturity of that child.  New parents soon learn that ‘free will’ is a very powerful force, especially when dealing with a two year old that is learning how to exercise their ‘free will’.  Parents often use tools such as withdrawal of benefits and privileges to control or guide the child; otherwise the child’s own undeveloped ego would destroy him/her.  Because the child is vulnerable and completely dependent on the parents, the parent exercises their authority to force their will upon the child in order to protect the child from his / her own destructive behaviors.  These behaviors are a result of a lack of knowledge, experience and comprehension due to the child’s lack of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual maturity.

When the child reaches physical maturity, they often leave the home to live their own life.  The reasons for leaving can range from the child’s own desire to live on their own or to the parents revoking all benefits and privileges (kicking them out).  Frequently as a result of a lack of knowledge, experience and immaturity (physical, mental, emotional or spiritual), the child will reach out and find another parent figure as they have not yet learned how to be independent.  Those dependent relationships are often a spouse and the state.  The state uses the exact same methodology to guide or control their ‘child’ that the parents did when the child was younger.  The child becomes dependent on the state for jobs, health care, food, shelter, etc.  The State provides all these benefits and privileges through their own creation called corporations and in exchange demands that the child pay for these services and submits to the authority of the State.  If the child rebels, the state then withdraws benefits and / or privileges to ensure compliance.

The state also assumes that the child is vulnerable and needs protecting just like a parent should.  Wholesale Travel Group Inc., [1991] S.C.R. 154 the Supreme Court of Canada talked about the reasons behind legislation and regulations:

While some regulatory legislation such as that pertaining to the content of food and drink dates back to the Middle Ages, the number and significance of regulatory offences increased greatly with the onset of the Industrial Revolution.  Unfettered industrialization had led to abuses. Regulations were therefore enacted to protect the vulnerable -- particularly the children, men and women who laboured long hours in dangerous and unhealthy surroundings. Without these regulations many would have died.  It later became necessary to regulate the manufactured products themselves and, still later, the discharge of effluent resulting from the manufacturing process.  There is no doubt that regulatory offences were originally and still are designed to protect those who are unable to protect themselves.  [underlining added to highlight important point]

In the same case, the Supreme Court of Canada went on to say:

At the same time, some conduct is prohibited, not because it is inherently wrongful, but because unregulated activity would result in dangerous conditions being imposed upon members of society, especially those who are particularly vulnerable.

It is important to know that there is a line between the roles and responsibilities of the individual and that of the State.  The terms I’ve come to associate to this concept are PRIVATE vs PUBLIC.

Blacks Law Dictionary defines these terms as:

Public  1.  Relating or belonging to an entire community, state, or nation.  2.  Open or available for all to use, share, or enjoy.
Private  1.  Relating or belonging to an individual, as opposed to the public or the government.

In Canada and I suspect in many other nations, this is further reinforced if one is to look up the following definition:

GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF CANADA [GOVERNOR-IN-COUNCIL] “The Head of State in Canada; the personal representative of the Queen.  He or she holds in all essential respects, the same position in relation to the administration of public affairs in Canada as is held by the Queen in Great Britain.”  Source:  Canadian Law Dictionary (5th Edition)

The state was created with a specific mandate as outlined and reinforced in the Supreme Court ruling:  Reference re Secession of Quebec, [1998] 2 S.C.R. 217

67 The consent of the governed is a value that is basic to our understanding of a free and democratic society.  Yet democracy in any real sense of the word cannot exist without the rule of law.  It is the law that creates the framework within which the "sovereign will" is to be ascertained and implemented.  To be accorded legitimacy, democratic institutions must rest, ultimately, on a legal foundation.  That is, they must allow for the participation of, and accountability to, the people, through public institutions created under the Constitution.  Equally, however, a system of government cannot survive through adherence to the law alone.  A political system must also possess legitimacy, and in our political culture, that requires an interaction between the rule of law and the democratic principle.  The system must be capable of reflecting the aspirations of the people.  But there is more.  Our law's claim to legitimacy also rests on an appeal to moral values, many of which are imbedded in our constitutional structure.  It would be a grave mistake to equate legitimacy with the "sovereign will" or majority rule alone, to the exclusion of other constitutional values. [underlining added to highlight key points]

The States mandate is to govern the people and that mandate came through your consent.  Because of that mandate they must assume that you are vulnerable and that you need protecting and as such they pass regulations and statutes to outline what those benefits and privileges will look like and how they are to be delivered.  That role is purely in the public realm and as such any activities the individual has in the public are subject to public policy with your consent.  In January 2010 a court in Ontario asked a very important and critical question in the case R. v. Schmidt, 2010 ONCJ 9:

141. In my view, these poignant statements from the Supreme Court [which I outlined above] beg the question: “If the ultimate purpose of regulatory legislation is to protect those who are unable to protect themselves, especially those who are particularly vulnerable, do those members of society who expressly waive the need for protection, still need the protection”? Relating this to the case at bar, if, in consuming raw milk per se the cow share members are not committing an unlawful act, and they wish to continue to do that within the parameters of the essentially private cow share program, why should they be forced to be bound by legislation which is intrinsically aimed at the vulnerable – those who need the protection?

The judge went on to dismiss all the charges against Michael Schmidt and in essence indicated that if the individual is to revoke their consent to being governed and be 100% responsible and 100% accountable for their decisions by entering into PRIVATE agreements with other people using full disclosure and critical thinking and informed consent, then the state has NO jurisdiction at all!

Let me put that another way;  If the individual decides to be physically, emotional, mentally and spiritually mature (a true adult), stay outside of the public realm and only function in the private, then the State can no longer force their will upon that individual.  That individual is free to govern him / her self without the influence or control of the State.  The State is going to resist this idea unless one puts the state on notice as a responsible, accountable adult would do.

Now there is an important thing to remember here; to hold this type of idea one must be both able and willing to govern oneself.  If the individual is either unable and / or unwilling (through immaturity at any level) then they automatically fall under the jurisdiction of their parent.  The Queen in her coronation oath of 1952 said she would take responsibility for governing the “People of Canada”.  I would suggest that other individuals, who reach this level of sovereign maturity on all levels, would also have a ‘duty’ to help those who are unable or unwilling to govern themselves.

To get back to the observation I made in the very first paragraph, it appears that the world has gone mad when one sees all the headlines and information streaming into our lives.  I am going to suggest that the State has lost sight of their responsibilities and mandate and is now putting the vulnerable at risk.  I would also suggest that the State has exceeded their ‘Public’ authority by suggesting that they also govern the ‘private’ as well.  I suspect that the majority of people are now consciously aware that there is something wrong and are looking for solutions on how to fix it.  I propose that the vulnerable children of the State grow up to be conscious self governing adults whom no longer force their will upon another adult and consciously confront those who do, with peace, love and compassion.  Should the State continue to force their will then the only peaceful alternative we have is an approach Gandhi used very successfully in India;  peaceful, non-violent civil disobedience.

Take an inventory of your life and find all the dependencies you have with the state or other corporations.  The vast majority of those dependencies are benefits or privileges and as such remedies must be found to remove your dependency on them.  The individual is responsible for everything in his / her life and as long as we behave like children we will continue to be treated like children.

Not everyone is going to be able or willing to govern themselves.  After all, I cannot force my will upon them to make them wake up and take responsibility for their lives.  To do so would be a foundational error in judgment and self governance.  I believe that the solution is to co-exist with the state and those who choose not to take up that responsibility.  I am not suggesting that we “bring down the government” for there are millions of people dependent on the government and destroying the government will cause chaos and injury to them all.  In fact I also believe those involved in government and corporations will end up destroy them selves even without our help.  I believe that our role is to establish a community of conscious self governing men and women so that when they do destroy themselves, we can invite all those that survive to our table in peace, love and friendship.  This is going to be an exercise in ‘tough love’ but at what time does a parent not resort to this kind of love because of their unwavering love, care and compassion for their children?

The first step, as I’ve mentioned above is to take an inventory of our lives and identify all the dependencies we have on others and then take active steps to remove those dependencies.  The second step is to identify where our energy goes and start to consciously be aware of how we use our energy, some of which is very subtle.

Most of us work for a living so that we can earn money to provide the basic necessities of life and have some fun too.  Money in its most basic form represents our energy and is a tool that we use to trade our energy for other peoples energy.  I think most people would agree that our energy can also be represented by endless other representations.  So why do we mainly focus on money?  Perhaps it is because it is the only form that is accepted by those we are dependent on; government and corporations.  If we could remove our dependency on these two types of organizations, then we are freer to express our energy in other forms. Thomas E. Mails wrote in his book “The Hopi Survival Kit”;

‘If people are to correct themselves and their leaders, the gulf between the two must disappear.’

What does that mean?  My interpretation is that instead of giving our energy away to another man to represent us, we need to take on that leadership role ourselves.  Voting is one of those vague methods we use to give our power away to somebody else.  In a small group, that individual who received those votes (energy) most likely has the character structure to deal with that extra power.  However, when the votes start getting into the millions or hundreds of millions, corruption is highly probable.  Not very many people on this earth have the character structure to deal with that much energy and most times the individual ends up being corrupted.  I would suggest that the act of voting or giving our energy away to others is a form of injury and as such I stopped giving my energy away.  It is a dangerous method and ends up with a lot of our energy pooling in central locations.  Many of us are concerned about the New World Order but all it really represents is the “pooling” of our energy into more central locations.  How do we stop it?  Is marching in demonstrations going to help or does that just give them more power and also demonstrate that you are a child?  After all, who rebels or pouts, adults or children?  Stop giving them your energy.  It is very simple.  Where is your energy going?  If you don’t know, do an inventory.  Who is responsible for it?  The answer always can be found when you look in the mirror.

The forms of energy that I referenced above are basically limited to economic, political, religious or financial systems of the physical world.  What about our emotional, mental and spiritual energy?  Do we consciously know where that energy is going?

Let us imagine that you are angry with your spouse or an agent of the state.  Is it your spouses fault or is the agent responsible for your feelings of anger?  My experience is that all events that happen in our lives are neutral.  They are not good or bad, they are what they are.  Our own reaction to the event makes it a good or bad event for us.  The fact that we chose to get angry means that we are expending a lot of negative energy towards another and as such we give them emotional control over our lives.  Those feelings are very draining because it is a constant tap of energy flowing away from us.  I think most people would recognize the physical affect of that drained feeling.  We use our own free will choice to determine how we are going to react to events and as such we choose how our energy is going to flow.  Can I make you angry or fearful?  No.  Those reactions are still a free will choice on your part, so it is time to own it.  When you do that, then you will find you react to events much differently and as such your energy does not get drained by those events and we then have much more energy to act in a positive way as a result of those choices.

The same goes with our mental energy.  I think most people would recognize how heavy, deep thinking takes up a lot of energy.  Working on hard intellectual problems like math, writing, etc can be very mentally draining.  In fact it could be argued that the energy required to do that level of work is the same as physical work.  So when we dwell on or constantly think about negative events or other people, we are in fact giving them our mental energy.  I’ve warned about this in my workshops when people study or research the occult, illuminati or other secret societies.  It is wise to be aware and knowledgeable about the techniques they use, but spending a lot of time and energy in these dark subject matter is actually giving them energy and power.  The actual act of thinking about them is helping them.  I find this difficult myself but I am trying to think about and focus on my own life and attracting events in my life that will empower me, provide for me and my family and keep some of that energy for myself.

The spiritual energy was the most difficult for me to identify.  At this particular moment, I view my belief structures as a very powerful spiritual energy source that actually governs the vast majority of my life.  What I believe is so powerful that I still have no idea how much energy and creative force is involved.  What I do know is that it is more powerful that I can even imagine.  There are a lot of books written on this topic that you can cover.  The basic premise is this:  If you believe you are not powerful, you have no control over your life and that you are stuck, then you are right.  If you believe you are powerful, can influence the direction your life is taking and you feel the energy flowing through you freely, then you are right!  The fact is, you are always right!  What you believe is the most important and we can change what those belief structures are.

What I have realized over time is that we have a LOT of energy.  I highly suspect that people are scared to death of the power they have and that is why we have a strong tendency to give it away so willingly.  We don’t know how to manage or govern that much power.  Perhaps it is a result of our own immaturity or lack of experience in learning how to do it.  We have been taught for most of our lives how to give our power away, not how to keep it and govern our power appropriately.

A conscious self governing individual knows their energy and manages the energy appropriately rather than giving it away to others to manage.  Once we figure this out, then we have successfully bridged the gulf between our self and our leaders.  What that means is that we become the leader rather than depending on somebody else.  Some people would argue that this would result in anarchy, but if the individuals are true conscious self governing adults, we should be able to achieve this specific definition of ‘anarchy’:

‘A social state in which there is no governing person or group of people, but each individual has absolute liberty (without the implication of disorder).’ (source Wikipedia)

When we achieve this social state, we will find that we have a lot of energy to then give away to people.  Right now we are stuck in an economic model of scarcity.  Most of us want to make the shift to a model of prosperity.  That can only happen when we stop giving our energy away to a central group of people.  Then an only then will we find the prosperity we are looking for, because we would have an abundance of energy to give away to people.  We have more energy than what we need to survive.  We are currently in a model that recognizes that fact and is setup to drain away the excess energy, leaving just enough to survive.  To break those chains requires that we consciously evaluate where our energy is going and fix it.  Then we will have more than enough energy to change our lives and the lives of those around us.  The power to change the world rests in me and you.

My friends, Steemit is a model of prosperity and I stand as a witness to a model of self-governance unfolding before our eyes.  By embracing Christ level consciousness, we can break free from the chains of slavery that has gripped mankind for millennia.  We are capable of doing works greater than what Christ was able to do.  We can rise above and save ourselves and others in the process.  We are presented with an opportunity.  All that is left is our will and ability to grasp that opportunity and make the best of it.  As always, it comes down to our free will choices.

Massive amount of information to think about!

Thanks to @ecoinstant, this post was resteemed and highlighted in today's edition of The Daily Sneak.

Thank you for your efforts to create quality content.

I am honoured @sneakyninja! Thank you.

Whew that was quite a read!

Our whole elction method is just a way for "leaders" to sap our energy. Look at how much unnecessary time, fanfair, attention, and money goes into an election where we could just have our leaders write down their plans and positions and let everyone see, maybe talk to them for one day instead of incessantly watching them the whole year.

Right now it loos to me like a spiritual revolution is happening, I hear so many people talking about going through a lot of struggle in 2017 as we are revealing our lack of self governance to ourselves. We've been idle and life has been starting to show us where we are off, where we are sending our energy(attention).

Where attention goes energy follows, I believe most of us need to start paying attention to ourselves, addressing our needs until we are fully clear and connected with our true selves again.

Right now many of our egos are still running the show. A new focus on consciousness is appropriate in order for us to succeed as a species.

I've been on the journey to stop giving away my energy and discover myself for a few years, it's not an easy thing to come to terms with the general lack of responsibility and noble traits I had in the past. It's been a true growing up process that life won't let me avoid, and I don't want it to.

Once we fully heal and accept ourselves we become far more capable of passing that energy with love. When we send loving energy there is no loss, it's like lighting 1000 candles from one. This is something everyone can start to do now, and don't forget to send love to yourself. Learn what compassion means to you and apply it.

Awesome write up @wwf, I'm working but had to take the time to read through and post a quick comment. Glad I've come across your work, you inspire me to keep putting my best foot forward.

extremely well written and I cannot put it more succinctly in words than you. The power of the state against us as individuals have been floating in my subconscious for awhile. This essay truly resonates with me. Steemit and many other blockchain projects are here to break the chains that bind some people to the very bottom of the social hierarchy. Definitely resteeming and upvoting!

people are scared to death of the power they have and that is why we have a strong tendency to give it away so willingly.

Great read!

The more I grow, the more I see how much more I need to grow. We are awakening ;)

Wow! This is an awesome read, @wwf!

The power to change the world rests in me and you.

We are presented with an opportunity. All that is left is our will and ability to grasp that opportunity and make the best of it.

Opportunity usually knocks but once. We need to seize it and run with it.
I have resteemed because I think this article and its message needs to be shared.

Thank you @cecicastor! I value your opinion and your support has great weight! Thank you!

"My friends, Steemit is a model of prosperity and I stand as a witness to a model of self-governance unfolding before our eyes."

I will testify to that!

This is just an outstanding read, and we are very much aligned in our thinking. The notion that resources are scarce has been a linchpin of our enslavement, changing to an abundance MINDSET will liberate our minds and bodies.
Resteemed, but I can't vote today... I MUST get control of THAT aspect of my power lol!

A man can change his own fate manually. A person needs to be verified, his work, his intelligence, a man's ability to consider everything, be proud of himself, and help others. Ability to deal with any situation

thanks for sharing great post...
@upvoted with resteemed

Wow, this is an outstanding post. Lots of lessons for me and everybody else. I very rarely resteem, but am going to resteem this. I think it's something worth coming back to and reading again and again. So as well as wanting to share it, I want it where I can find it! Thank you.

Thank you. I am honoured and grateful that you found it worth while to share. <3 Have you read my book 'Graduating Life with Honours'? If you liked this post you may enjoy my book.

I've opened it up in another tab, so I can have a look tomorrow. I've also mentioned this post in my post on gratitude today.

I am honoured. Thank you!

Masterfully written! This needs to get seen more!! I am reminded of the message/quote I put in this morning's post:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." - Marianne Williamson
