I'm just now seeing this thru a resteem and am certainly glad I did see it. This practice you use in raising you children really has me thinking right now. I have a 6 year old son named Jackson, and thus can relate to a lot of the stories you told. You've got me really thinking and I think the most powerful line to me was "How's he gonna know what to do with freedom if you don't give him the chance to exercise it?".
