The Unsinkable Ship

"A raging storm hit the voyaging ship, with a commotion of winds and waves that in a little mistake it will made the ship sink into the deep blue unstable ocean water and the people didn't know what to do."

On the day the ship started to sail in the ocean, there you can you see the vastness of horizon. It was a great day to sail! On the ocean they saw fishes, sea mammals and other ocean creatures finding ways to extend the numbers of their lives. They also found birds kissing the salt water to live, to find food. Then in the ship, there was the captain, the crew and the passengers all were happily looking at the scenic moment that the ocean gave as they travel onto their destination.

As they traveled the large body of salt water, a mass of wind hit against the ship and all began to wonder why the moment suddenly changed into a fearsome scenario. Dark clouds covered the blue sky. Drops of waters started to fall from the sky and the scenic moment changed into a panic moment. Big waves hit the ship that in a just a little mistake of the captain in steering the ship, it will sink.

The passengers began to panic, struggling to rescue themselves. They were shouting, "What should we do?" Some said, "We all gonna die!" Others shouted, "Help us GOD!" All of them really don't know what to do. They've been struggling on how to make themselves safe. Others wanted to jump out of the ship. They were hopeless and were terrified at what they're seeing and experiencing. Then the captain along with its crew came and said, "Why are you panicking? Are you not enjoying the moment?" Then one of the passengers answered, "Are you crazy? We all gonna die here! Look at the storm, it will make the ship sink!" And one of the passengers also said, "You should not be the captain here, how should we enjoy a moment like this?" Then the captain answered, "All of you, be still and know that I am the captain! If there's anyone you need to trust here, it should be me not yourself or anyone. I know everything that's happening here! I've been in this situation before." Then the captain commanded his crew to help the passengers stand and keep them calm. Then a woman asked the captain as she cried, "How can we survive in here? How can you keep yourself relaxed in a moment like this? I have children to feed. Please do your job!" Then the captain replied, "Like what I said, be still and know that I am the captain."

Then the captain managed to hold the steering wheel and made the ship passed through the raging the storm. He commanded all to hold on tight and keep their faith up high. He told them that a man's will to live can be tested when he passes through a raging storm. After hours of wrestling with the storm, they found the sun with its rays pointing on the ship.Then they were all happy to see their families waiting for them at the port as they looked at the beautiful scenery with green mountains, tweeting birds and dancing trees awaiting for them as they arrived at the port.

Then the captain told them, "If all of you already gave up, you would not be here. You just have to enjoy the raging storm and make yourself strong out of it. If you believe that the ship would sink, it will surely does because what you actually do is to wait for it to sink. Thanks for riding in our ship and you will ride again for sure!"

In our lives, we're facing different storms. We've been struggling physically, spiritually, financially about everything that make us panic. We tend to murmur and even blame GOD on what we're experiencing. We forgot that he's the One who knows it all and the only GOD we can fully trust. We forgot that the reason why we're experiencing storms in life is that He wants us to learn and fully submit ourselves to Him. We feel hopeless despite of the fact that we know that there's hope out of Him. Personally, I'm struggling spiritually. I'm worrying about what the future brings, and I'm struggling about my relationship with Him. But God just reminded me that it's not about me anymore but it's all about Him. If we won't make our hearts still, even in the worst situation, we will not find His peace. I can never forget one of the great promises God gave us, that He knows the plans He has for us; therefore we should not worry about tomorrow and let tomorrow worry about itself. In the stillness of our hearts we have to know how to worship God even in the darkest hour of our lives. So friends, let your hearts be still and know that He is our GOD! May He bless us all.
