Steemit

Positve	Change	Dream	Big

Looking at the Wikipedia page on Steemit it gives you a lot of information on the mechanics of the Platform.

but falis in its effort to talk about the quality of the people and posts, also the community that is Steemit.

It seems to me that the best kept secret of the steemit is the community. As far as I am concerned what brought me in to steemit was the monetization model and the chance of making money. **but what has kept me involved and getting further involved is the steemit community.

Steemit Community

THe steemit community and some of the things that a few forward thinking, concerned and fully engaged steemit members such as @surpassinggoogle that are concerned about the growth and health of the community are the fly in facebooks and youtubes ointment. The community in the others, are very mean, and very politically driven

as people on Facebook and youtube get censored and banned we need to be the place that makes them feel like home.

Myself,I have never felt such community as I have here on steemit and discord( where the steemians go to talk and create ideas for steemit. CLick on this link to download the app, you will not be dissapointed!

which is called Steemgigs, a great, supportive, informative, community.

one of the bullets, I am sure that will take down the beast that is facebook.

Conclusion

I believe it we keep our interests vested in making steemit a premier place to join for people who dont want to be trolled constantly, or censored out of existence, *or speaking their mind 100% free of being told you are wrong.

I believe no one is wrong, just some are misinformed and afraid of what they do not understand.
In conclusion, YES i believe steemit can topple the giant super corps, we are a site(community) where individual thought reigns supreme.* don't get me wrong there are the rude and misinformed but there is a way to minimize their exposure. but still they can say what they have to say without getting there profiles erased, or there hard work erased.*
We are all the same here, we all comes from different walks of life and find our common threads.

To take the big guys down, Google, facebook. we must stay engaged, tell your friends, be creative. Join us in the fray and learn how to do this, its not hard, complex, or censored. Be yourself and you will see what it is like to fall in love with a site like never before.

I think we all come here for the money. The shiny numbers on the trending page is enticing! But we stay for the community.

Nowhere else is such a supportive and encouraging community :)

Steemit is going to be so HUGE in one year. It will surpass google and fb. The potentials with this are unlimited...

@arbitrarykitten that is exactly how I feel. I just want to see the beauty that is steemit grow and not get ruined by trolls.but thats why I love this platform "the rep system" be a butthead and talk to nobody except other buttheads. :)

This is wonderful. It's better reading a short write up that goes to the point then reading a long one that's just full of words that may sometimes bore you to sleep.
