US military plane crashes, 9 people die of fear
A military transport aircraft in the US state of Georgia has been killed and nine people are believed to have died.
Their carrying C-130 aircraft crashed beside the junction of a highway near the local airport of Savina's coastal city on Wednesday, the BBC said.
According to Savanna Morning News, the plane crashed near the airport at around 11:30 am local time.
During the incident, the aircraft was under a training flight under the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, according to the US National Guard.
In photos shared by social network, there was a fire in the plane's ruins and black smoke was seen from there.
Puerto Rico National Guard spokesman Major Paul Dahlen said, "We have confirmed that there were five crew members and four other passengers on the plane."
Officials said the plane had at least five people earlier this year.
Georgia national National Guard Captain Jeffrey Bezor said that after identifying the relatives, the identity of the deceased will be revealed.
In a tweet, the President of the United States President Donald Trump urged everyone to join him in 'mourning and prayer' for the victims and their relatives.
