The only drawback for this is probably all the contributor might get lower reward while @utopian-io voting weight remains the same to vote increased number of posts.

This will happen yes, but the machine stops voting at a certain vote power % and continues when back at 100%. It is something to watch down the line, and something the contributor must consider - is it worth the time or not.
