What Is Posting Key & Active Key - IMPORTANT
Hello everyone
Someone must always have privacy that should not be known by others and also in social media or other media, privacy is a thing we must keep well, for example is a password. password is a privacy that we must guard and should not be known by others.
Well. in the world of steemit, password is called with key, and key is in steemit not only 1 but there is more than 1, for example is post key and also active key. What is that ?
Master Key
Master Key is the password you got when you first signed up for steemit. and you can keep that.if you want an account to be controlled not only you but if you have a community account, it is better not to give master key to others, just 1 person hold. you can only post key to your team. because each key has different uses.
Posting Key
Post key is used for posting and voting. This must be different from the active key and the owner.
so. click show private key and you can get the post key . use post key to login, make post and also for voting. this is the post I said before, that with this post key we can give to our team to make a post or want to vote.
Active Key
The active key is used to transfer and order in the internal market.
The active key that you can get by clicking login to appear with your master Key account steem, then you will get an active key for the transfer activity and also the active key is also widely used to enter other interfaces such as busy.org steemiz.io utopian.io and other platforms

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT
The reason I say this is very important in the know by the newbie in steemit is to keep your account better to avoid things you do not want. in the last month, account theft never happened to my friend , look that post https://steemit.com/steemit/@arie.steem/our-friends-get-hacked-samstonehill-we-hope-to-get-a-solution . his account is back to normal and back to the owner, but the incident that is experienced by him is quite an experience for us all
Yup. I hope this post can be useful for those of you who do not know too much in steemit, hopefully you can be careful in using your password activity using steemit.

ah stupid
used my posting key for editing a video (new tags) and its not working.
thought i can use it for things like that
fail :D
need the masterkey (-sword)
Boleh gak pakai Key Posting untuk login ke aplikasi pihak ketiga.
selama pihak ketiga dapat terpercaya tidak masalah pak, asalkan jangan menggunakan master key.
