Ohms law x: Calculating power with regards to P = IV, P = I2R, and P = V2 / R

Ohms law x is an open source app that is used to calculate any value with power and another value like resistance, current or voltage. It is also used to calculate power with just one value.

Proposals

I’ve used the app for a while, and I find it difficult to calculate power in terms of

  • current and resistance
  • Voltage and current
  • Voltage and resistance

The app cannot be used to calculate the power in the circuit as you need to have a figure for power already before using the app. There’s a space that displays the three formulas of power (P = VI, P = I2R, P = V2 / R), but the app can’t calculate power with respect to those formulas. It would be nice if this proposal is considered, and those ideas implemented.

Benefits

Since the app supports almost all ohms law calculation (basic ones), completing it with the proposed idea will add more value to it. Calculating power regarding current and resistance, Voltage and current, Voltage and resistance will be made easy, which will create a user-friendly environment for the users.

It is nice to see you contributing again.
The suggested features are very useful but I feel that their necessity, usage and impact could have been described in a few sentences.
The mock-ups could have been better as well.
I know you can do better than this and I am looking forward to see good old ckole again.
