Project Details
GitLab is the one single application that you'll need for the entire DevOps Lifecycle. With its Concurrent DevOps, GitLab promises to make the software lifecycle 200% faster. This is my 3rd contribution to the localization project of GitLab, and the more I know about this app, the more I'm impressed. I am constantly in their website, GitLab, in my attempts to get insight on the words I am translating for them. It is where I learned that Forrester, an American market research company, cites GitLab as "A Leader In CI Tools Evaluation" (you can read the full report here). It's no wonder that CERN, along with organizations like Nasdaq and NASA, uses them.
Contribution Specification
The screenshot below, taken from GitLab Reports, shows you that I have been working on the strings from 2018-11-08 to 2018-11-10. 2032 English words were translated to 2517 Filipino words. It seems it takes more Filipino words to express a thought, hence, the number difference.
As indicated in GitLab's Translation guide, I did not translate the variables and the technical terms in the string. These include the following words that I encountered while translating the string s these past 3 days:
- Kupernetes
- Runner
- Trigger
- URL
- Path
- Merge Request
-GitHub - Unstage
