Lack of Status in the Signal messenger Application

The Signal messenger Application does not have the status option which do not allow users the freedom to express more about themselves,how they feel and happenings around their environments.
Proposal
It would be nice if the Status option is added so that users can express themselves better and constantly update their social life through the social media.

-With this option present on the application, it will encourage a lot of people to download the Signal Messenger Application.
