Utopian Open Source Radio
With this article i want to present the idea of having a full fledged Radio show circling around all aspects of Open Source Software.
Initially i would not want to plan this show for lasting more than one hour and it will feature a mix of talking about fantastic contributions that have been done via Utopian.io and talking about Utopian itself and where you as a audience can support the idea best.
For sure a radio show like this is also a perfect possibility for everyone to ask questions or just give us some feedback.
What do i want to achieve with this radio show?
Well, at first we need to spread the word about Utopian and the idea behind it. We are still quite a small group compared to what is possible, so talking about the good we can do with this surely is one clear goal.
On the other hand, we are already getting a lot of very good contributions and a few project owners already are managing their project with Utopian. I would really like to talk to those people, highlight what they are doing and get them the audience that they deserve.
In order to connect this with the actual work we are receiving, iam asking all moderators and supervisors to nominate contributions to talk about within the show, if possible with the contributor in direct interview.
How should this all work?
We are already having a wonderful radio programme by the PAL Network and they are really showing how this is done professionally! Kudos to all that are doing a great job over there.
This is exactly what we are planning to take as a model.
Iam sure that we will not reach this level of profesionality in the first time, but we can get there if we try hard!
The show will be held in the Utopian Discord Server, in a channel that will be specifically created for this purpose.
What comes next?
A radio show like this can not be run only by me, so iam actively searching for additional people to support and take over some roles within this venture. Furthermore, I also want to point out the possibility to come up with cool contributions to this project, being it a logo, translations or whatever else we could use to push this idea forward.

well actually i havent yet decided if this is also featuring music, because the topic is open source and as such quite far away from the normal radio concept. But as i said i did not fully sketch the outline yet.

Hi @jedigeiss, I am really interested in hosting radio shows here on Steemit but i have no idea how to start one. Also some of my favourite shows are from NTS.live, which is pre-dominantly music based but i am willing to explore what i could offer? Would be nice to link up and also share some ideas? Would also be nice to link it with D-live maybe? To have a video going and also archive it a nice way such as how NTS does their shows? Tracklistings etc. Hope to hear from you soon :)
This is an amazing idea! I'm currently working on an education platform that interacts with the STEEM blockchain called DLearn, it would be nice to talk about it to a wider audience of Steemians. I think you should also connect with some musicians on the platform for background music and music in-between interviews...

This update excites me. The Utopian world would be a better place at the completion of this massive project.
I wish I'm talented in this aspect, I would have volunteered myself in support of @jedigeiss. But I'll do my best to resteem, invite and proclaim the great news.
