Proposed Vs. Original Icon
Using the same color I provided a more detailed and obvious icon based on the name of application which is Lightning Browser.

and i came up with this simple concept suit for the application.

Design Color Variation
I prepared three different color to provide optional design of the application.

Including Black and white color for visibility check

192x192px

144x144px

I also Included the Color Code and Font used of the design

I used the default font provided by the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.

Benefits / Improvement
In this new designed logo, it will provide more accurate icon display based on the application name. The logo itself maintained its original color but produced much better designed logo. People who can see this new proposed Icon does not have a second thought between the logo and the name of the app. because of its simplicity and obvious designed.
