Introduction to "From Minnow to Dolphin"

We have decided to create this series of posts so that minnows can know how to earn money in a good way by posting quality content on the Steem Blockchain. This posts will cover from the very start in which you first enter your Steem account and are addressed for minnows who won't be investing in Steem but still they want to grow their account in an organic way.

The #introduceyourself post

This is the first post that you will create as a new member of the Steem community so instead of posting it right away you need to do a couple of things first:

1-Familiarize with the Steem Blockchain ecosystem

Before writing your first post you need to understand how this social media works because it differs substantially from other such as Facebook, there are a lot of good posts explaining the functioning of each of them so we'll provide you with a list of things you need to learn about:

2- Decide your niche and language

Before writing your #introduceyourself post you need to know what is the content you'll be writing about and the language you'll use. English is the most used language in Steem so if you wanna target a larger audience you will have to write in English, however if your English writing skills are not good enough you should write on your native language and make yourself a place within that language community, you may not have such a large audience to target but if your posts are not well written it won't matter the language you are using because readers won't be able to understand your posts therefore leaving you with non-quality posts. If you can't write a quality post in English you should then write your posts in your native language. Choosing a niche is another thing you must decide, the most discussed topic nowadays in Steem is cryptocurrency because after all Steem is a cryptocurrency itself and it has the larger audience, however you can still write posts on other niches if you are more comfortable with them. To sum up, you should choose the language and niche that fits you best.

3- Decide if you want to reveal your identity or not

From the first day you need to decide whether you want to reveal your identity (Full name, photo...) or remain anonymous, this decision is up to you.

Write the #introduceyourself post

Now that you've learned about the functioning of Steem, selected your niche and language and decided whether you wanna remain anonymous or not it is time to write your first post, there are two models you can follow depending on whether you decided to remain anonymous or not.

Model Number 1: If you decided to disclose your identity

If you want to reveal your identity all you need to do is write about:

Who are you?

How did you heard about Steem and decided to sign up?

Where are you from?

Which type of content will you be uploading to the platform?

Model Number 2: If you want to remain anonymous

If you want to remain anonymous all you need to do is write about:

Which type of content will you be uploading to the platform?

Considering you only have one question to talk about you'll need to be precise and give details about the upcoming content that you'll be posting on your blog.

Considerations to take before publishing it

See if your post is aesthetically appealing to the reader

Search for grammar mistakes

Make sure you've included all you want and nothing but what you want

Congratulations you now have published your first post!

Advices after publishing the post

Answer all comments that you may receive

Don't get nervous if the post isn't succesful, it is normal for an introduceyourself post to not be succesful
